Some Thoughts on Immigration Reform
From Sea to Shining Sea ^ | 5/20/07 | Purple Mountains

We are being told that this is a “fair” bill and that this is the best we can do. Conservative and traditional Americans who wish to preserve the values and institutions that made this country great must understand that one-worlders and secular-progressives, like Senators Kennedy, Reid and Durbin, and also Americans who hate America, have taken over our educational system and our information and entertainment media and have great influence within our political system.

The new immigration bill, as it now stands, contains amnesty for illegals now here, a guest worker program and stronger measures to control our borders. It also provides that the amnesty and guest-worker provisions would not kick in until the border control measures are in place and certified to be working.

Somewhere in this great country, there is probably someone who believes this.

The end of the republican party, followed by the eventual demise of the democrat party, eventually to be replaced with the typical latin American marxist dicatorship.

The problem is not immigration. The problem is illegal aliens. Leftist propaganda has infiltrated this forum. If you let the left define the argument you will never win.

We have the logistical knowledge to send an army around the world and defeat an enemy in the field and yet we are overwhelmed by building a wall and rounding up 12 million illegals. The real problem is not the logistics its the same old politicians elected to office that lack the will to do the job. The media propaganda machine accepts the fact that deporting 12 million is impossible. The only way the corrupt governments will be overthrown is to send this mass of humanity back to their country of origin.

Plug the holes and start the pumps.

Yep! We are supposed to believe that the very same people who have consistently refused to enforce current law will suddenly enforce NEW law. Sorry but I just ain't buying it!

I must disagree. We have lost our ability to require immigrants to assimilate. Until we regain our composure and learn to expect better from immigrants, we need to just shut down the flow to a trickle. We will never learn to assimilate third world peoples en masse, anyway. It just can't be done, and never should have been tried.

This is a vexing aspect of the illegal immigration problem. It would be bad enough if we continued to allow hundreds of thousands of South/Central/Mexicans, Muslims and other third-worlders in via the front door. But they weren't enough for Wall Street, so we've allowed millions more laborers in the back door.

How is it better for America than what we are doing now, which is nothing. Excuse me I forgot ... more Democrat voters. I lost my mind for a minute there, sorry.

“The media propaganda machine accepts the fact that deporting 12 million is impossible.”

President Bush has been on their side since day one.
