Why isn’t there any rationality in this looney debate. I thought the more paper and timber we harvest from trees, the more carbon we extract from the air, given that the trees grow back and suck in CO2 as they are designed to do.

I guess we should just ignore the fact that paper comes from trees that are planted just like any other crop. If we reduce the amount of paper use, tree farmers will reduce the number of acres planted.
