The owner of this blog cut-and-pasted my intellectual property, and is hosting it on their site, with trackbacks pointing to them. They licensed it, as if it was their work, under a Creative Commons license, without the required attribution. I even attempted to appeal to the conservative in him, explaining we're on the same side.
When notified of the correct source link and asked to correctly attribute the article, the editor, JT Thompson responded "Go f%%# yourself, moron." He then proceeded to show how childish he truly is by blocking my IP address and issuing taunts via redirect.
Gee, I guess he likes my work so much, he won't even give it up when threatened with legal action.

if they stole your work, contact their ISP and notify their abuse department of IP theft. Getting their web site shut down is a lot more inconvenient than dealing with angry emails from you.
Your site is nearly impossible to read with that background image.
already working on it, but it takes time of course...
Thanks vermonter. I sometimes wonder about that image. I'll change it, and appreciate the feedback..
No problem, I have used images I thought would be great only to discover they were a little too intrusive.
Good luck dealing with those yahoos.
He screwed up his blocking code. He's blocking ALL connections from any IP address with the same message - "You're permanently blocked from reading this site"'. Amateur.
I wonder how long it's going to take before he realizes he's blocked the world?
Thanks a lot, you guys
BTW, he did finally figure out the world was blocked and then proceeded to issue this doozy of a statement.
Thanks all, for your support..
Cool image but the dots are referred to as "noise" like the static on a television, feedback on a MIC, or grain on a photograph.
Good luck with the thieves.
Hmm.
Thanks corlorde. When applying transparency to the image to fade it enough that the text can be seen, it sometimes does that, not in the image itself, but for some reason it gets rendered that way in a browser. My imaging software sees it just fine
Looks nice!
BYW, I think this goon finally got shut down. His site is no longer available..
He dug his own grave, though. Did you follow any of the links I put out on that article? It's pretty crazy for the self-professed "editor" of a website to steal your stuff and then tell you to get screwed when you ask for it back.. If any of you had a hand in that, I apprecaite it.
