What is cool is reading the responses by other scientists and experts in the field blowing her out of the water on her own blog....
"Assuming that human induced climate change was true, the predicted temperature change is far less than the historical record of climate variation on the earth. There isn't a solid understanding of what caused past climate shifts, meaning that the theoretical human caused climate change is mere noise in a much larger climate pattern of unknown origin.
How can you as a professional not know this, and recognize the insignificance of human global warming, even if true?
Worse, you have joined a political faction that seeks to use the public's lack of knowledge as a tool to justify unneeded government controls across the world. The Weather Channel has gone from an information provider to a political propaganda mouthpiece. By definition, you will alienate around half your audience right there. Whether you are right or wrong about global warming, if I were TWC management, I would fire you on the spot for damaging the credibility of your service in the minds of many for cheap political purposes.

Glad to.
And to think I spent 25 years in the printing industry. Where do I go to get tested?
Don't worry, some lawyer will be running ads any day now giving you an 800 number to call.
Will need time to check. First heard about it on Vickie McKenna's show out of Madison, WI.
One way I'd like to emulate the French!
Yeah, one of the biggest problems the warming hysterians have is that all the best evidence linking CO2 to warming is from before the Industrial Revolution, and in many cases is from before humans formed large civilizations of ANY kind.
If you find anything, please post a thread about it. I'd love to see someone do a point-by-point, lie-by-lie refutation of that piece of propaganda.

...doesn't do it for you, nothing will! Ten pages of debunking. I saved it to my hard drive immediately.
Y'know what--I just found that, too. After posting to you, I Googled "debunking an inconvenient truth" and that's one of the first things I came across.
Here is the chapter-by-chapter version:

I need to study up.
No, that would be the bush that "lost" the election to the wash-out seminarian.
The "movie" wasn't about the charts or Anthropogenic Catastrophic Climate Change (ACCC). I rented it during XPmas.
Surprise! It was about Algore and how he is so misunderstood.
It's a MAN, man.
WHY IT'S GETTING WARM
Tune: "Riders on the Storm"
Why it's getting warm
Why it's getting warm
Is it hotter than the norm
Or just turning back to form
Gore would sound the warning horn
And make cars that run on corn
Why it's getting warm
There's an inconsistent flaw
In his scientific law
There's not one single cause
For why an iceberg thaws
The conclusion that he draws
Is giving us guffaws
An inconsistent flaw
Gore, you incoherent goof
Gore, you incoherent goof
It doesn't take a sleuth
To see your lack of proof
Here's an inconvenient truth
It's still freezing in Duluth
You incoherent goof
Why it's getting warm
Why it's getting warm
Is it hotter than the norm
Or just turning back to form
Gore would sound the warning horn
And make cars that run on corn
Why it's getting warm
Why it's getting warm
Why it's getting warm . . .
It wasn't me or doug from upland. Apparently it was someone named Ron Allen, who wrote, Sandy Berger Can (to the tune of "Secret Agent Man").
Also, it seems that those of us (like doug and I) who only sent in lyrics--which was all that the rules called for--were at a disadvantage to those who sent in recorded musical performances.
That stinks. The rules NEVER said anything about sending in a recorded performance. Basically, those who FOLLOWED the rules were penalized for doing so. I would like Bill Bennett to explain this.
They should run that song parody contest contest again. Or at the very least, have another contest in which sending in of recorded songs is prohibited.
I thought Mark Steyn won the contest... He WAS pretty good.
Man, I can almost hear Jim Morrison singing those lyrics!
Didn't someone just die from ingesting too much Dihydrogen Monoxide during a radio stunt?
See post#89
Another great parody!
Even better, you just gave me an idea for a song parody of a different song.
