I would be skeptical about this report and may add that it might not necessarily be a good thing if AQ offed Al Sadr. Sunni against Shitie violence would get a lot worse.
Well, it's true there is a post there talking about an unconfirmed "telegram" but I doubt this until we see more. Also, don't be certain his killing would have a good result. It would depend on who takes over his group and the reaction of his followers.

I was thinking about how upset the editors at Newsweek would be.
Just last week they had a totally awesome cover picture of their boy in full scary mode with the headline “The Most Dangerous Man in Iraq.”
I wish I could find the cover on line, but I couldn't. It resembled one of those seventies fan magazines for little girls – like “Tigerbeat” or “TeenBeat” only this one was geared towards swooning pro-terrorist liberals.
