God bless him and all the best to him.
My oldest is looking real hard at the Navy right now but I won't hold that against him...8>)

Thanks. He's probably less nervous about it than I am, but I'm sure he'll be a great grunt!

Sounds to me like there's a few heroes in the airborne family... Your son for joining and the rest of the family for not standing in his way. Congratulations!
Oh, and btw, Go NAVY - Beat ARMY!!!

Thank you! My brother has been very helpful. He was a Ranger, then SF, and spent his last 15 with Delta, retiring as a CSM.
'airborne' Jr. spent a week with him and came home with a solid plan.
I'm pretty proud of the fact that he's going Airborne Infantry.

Your Mother wears Army boots. :-) We used to say "Your mother eats cat litter." LOL
My dad wore a Navy uniform...for 28 years. Airedale. My brother was a Squid for four years. Gotta go with the family loyalties. ;-)
