DUmmie FUnnies 11-08-06 ("IMPEACH BUSH!")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | November 8, 2006 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 11/08/2006 5:25:35 AM PST by PJ-Comix

In a weird way, the Democrat victories in the House and Senate yesterday were a good thing in the long run. Yeah, it's hard to see it now but already we see the beginnings of the big Democrat crackup as the loonies start elbowing their way around and come up against the professional Democrats. Such is the case that we see here in this DUmmie THREAD demanding to "IMPEACH BUSH!" When they find out that the impeachment process won't be happening RIGHT AWAY the DUmmies will screech about betrayal thus tearing the Democrats apart even more. Simultaneously we will see the DUmmies confronting the Hillary Machine in her bid for presidential nomination. Now that the DUmmies had a taste of success, they will demand that one of their own, NOT Hillary, receive the nomination. So stand by folks for a lot of upcoming fireworks from within the Democrats. In the meantime, let us now observe the DUmmies make their IMMEDIATE impeachment demands in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, reminding himself that a two-year interregnum is not an eternity, is in the [brackets]:

IMPEACH BUSH!

[We won a few hours ago...LUNACY NOW!!!]

IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH BUSH!

[The one dimensional mind in all its glory.]

Impeach Bush? IMPEACH BUSH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!

[So you want Nancy Pelosi to start off by breaking her promise of no impeachment?]

And Cheney .... President Pelosi in '07 is the goal of 'WE THE PEOPLE ..." Make it happen ........................

[Sorry but in case you haven't noticed the Democrats still don't have the two-thirds of the Senate needed to convict. No President Pelosi in '07 or any other time.]

IMPEACH BUSH!

[Your disappointment will be FUn to watch. And you can't blame Bush when that doesn't happen. Your own Democrats will be getting flamed for that.]

That is a Good idea but possibly bad politics.

[Bad politics have never stopped the DUmmies before.]

Time's a wasting... Let's not delay this any further!

[Start picketing Nancy Pelosi when she doesn't start impeachment IMMEDIATELY.]

but Speaker Pelosi says NO! will she let have at his ass?

[You'll want to kick her ass if she does not break her promise.]

President Pelosi IMPEACH BUSH!

[Democrat civil war is going to be interesting.]

Let the subpoenas fly, Mr. Conyers, Mr. Rangel, Mr. Skelton .

[Yes. Let the public see these clowns in action. Great way to start off your return to power.]

Before it's too late! First order of bidness!

[Before it's too late! First order of bitterness!]

What will happen is that the current Iraq government will realize they need to more quickly take over the duties currently being done by US troops.

PJ, I think you are spot on with you analysis. The Democrats are now the victims of "Be careful what you ask for." They will be walking a razor-thin line between what's left of the more moderate Democrats who put them back in power (i.e., the centrist Democrats in flyover country) and the barking Howard Dean Moonbats who believe they now own the party. I at first thought that by losing to the Republicans, we would see the destruction of the Democrat party into two factions, but now it may happen because they won.

OK Nancy, you've got the tiger by the tail - what do you do now?

I read the election threads on FR last night and I am proud to say no one turned into a DUmmie. Anger and disappointment but nothing off the wall and no one needing drugs. LOL!

With 49 republicans in the SEnate and Mr. Liberman, the liberals won't come close to the 67 votes they need to remove the President from office. On the other hand the liberals don't have the 67 votes in the Senate, whatever it is in the House to overide a presidential veto. The President, with all his faults, will not retreat on the war on terror. I think the troops will be funded and we'll keep the NSA program and the partiot act.
And IF the 49 republicans in the senate show some guts and threaten to filibuster and shut down the government when the left goes nuts, much of the liberal lunactic agenda will die.

Apparently they don't understand that it takes a 2/3 vote in the Senate. Do any of them really believe that, after the way the Dems protected Clinton, the Republicans are going to throw out a Republican president?

Speaking of caffeine addiction, I actually know a guy, Brian, who NEVER drank coffee in his life. No, he isn't a Mormon and he says he gets his caffeine via drinking soda. However he said he just never had the desire to drink coffee. I have many times offered to buy him a cup of coffee just to see his reaction but he always declines. What's up with that? You would figure that he would at least be curious enough to take a sip of coffee.

Sounds just like me. I can't stand the taste of coffee, but I get plenty of caffeine via diet soda. What's odd is that I love the smell of coffee, but despise the taste.

The unfortunate part of all of this is that if they are successful in spite of being left on their own, it will appear to "validate" the cut-and-run strategy.

Like I said in a previous DUFU, when we lose, we don't go batsh*t and jump off bridges. In fact, we are now poised to watch a great struggle, and the meltdown of the Democrats. As you have said, the moonbats want it ALL, NOW!

Truth is, the Democrats will have to "rule" from the center, and it is only a matter of a few weeks (after the new congress goes into session), that the DUmmies will begin gnashing their teeth, as they realize that on Capitol Hill, its Business as Usual! That they have been USED to gain power, but they won't get their wishes.

Politics is funny, when your side wins, things look really good, but as we have learned, things never turn out as great as you think. Conversely, when you lose, things never turn out as badly as you fear. I dunno about other freepers, but I'll enjoy the DUFU's just as I always have. As whacky as the DUmmies were when they were out of power, I think they'll really lose it now that they THINK they are in power.

Coffee is an acquired taste but once you acquire it, you can't get enough of it. I also love coffee in the form of coffee ice cream, Kahlua, etc..

The dims won by running very moderate candidates, that's a big factor in them winning.

The VAST majority of "swing" voters I talked too (shallow politically for the most part), didn't really understand that the Dems are the party of appeasers and weakness, they just wanted "a change". Anyone who believes that Americans have gone soft or whatever, just doesn't understand what it takes to win elections. The swingers swung against us this time. Thats all. I think its silly when people try to read these tea leaves, but I guess thats how "pundits" and "anal ists" make their money.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened to chickory. When I was a kid, coffee almost always had chickory in it (at least in Florida and the South) but now I can't seem to find it.

It's going to be an interesting 2 years.

I'm going to have to do something, because looking at Pelosi day after day is going to burn my eyes and melt my brain. Do they make any reverse "Them" glasses that hide Pelosi's skull-eyes?

You know, maybe I'm just grasping at straws here, but...

Here's a scenario that occurred to me this morning. Maliki sees that he's in the soupand becomes tough as nails. For example, he tells Sadr that if the militia isn't gone by the end of the month he's letting the USMC come in there. He gets so agressive and tough that we're able to move many of our guys out to the borders and control them.

But we basically have to win the war in either two months or in the short (almost certainly single-digit) number of months before the Dems pull the plug. Counter-insurgency takes time.

Luzianne makes a coffee/chicory blend. Not sure where you can find it. Walmart carries their tea, but I haven't looked for the coffee. Isn't Postum a coffee/chicory blend?
There are alot of different brands available online.

You know, it's funny, the Dems said they wanted more pressure on the Iraqi government...and they sure got it. If I were Mailiki I would be telling every officer I could get on the phone that his units had better be ready for some serious butt-kicking by the first of the year.

It could turn out to be a good cop/bad cop kind of thing. Bush was patient, but the "bad cops" are coming, so perhaps Iraq will shape up faster. You know what? I HOPE THIS HAPPENS! I know most Freepers probably dont, because it will make the Dems look good, but frankly, this War should NOT be about politics. I hope for the best outcome, regardless of who instigates it or even gets credit. In my heart and head, I'll know the truth anyways.

It'll be Newt or Rick Santorum or some other strong conservative or I will skip that part of the ballot. No more wimps!

Yeah, in the "oddity" department, I don't like coffee ice cream either, but I do like Kahlua (I've even made my own sugar-free Kahlua).
