(Mountainside, NJ) – U.S. Senate candidate Tom Kean, Jr. released the following statement today regarding recent remarks made by Rush Limbaugh: “I categorically denounce the inappropriate and outrageous claims made by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show today. Parkinson’s is a horrible disease that ravages the human body, and to belittle someone suffering with the disease has no place in politics.I believe the science of stem cell research holds immeasurable potential that might one day provide a cure for such a horrible disease. The promise of stem cell research is great, and I strongly believe the federal government should fund stem cell research, with a system of comprehensive ethical oversight.”
You could be right about that, we'll see.
But I still refuse to contribute in any way to Menendez being elected. I just can't.
I respect your opinion, but there are a small number of Republicans I could NEVER vote for. McCain and Chafee, for example. I include Tom Kean Jr. on that short list.
No, and I very much doubt that we, as a group, are dumb enough to repeat that terrible and painful error.

Maybe you'd understand if you lived in NJ (do you? I just realized I don't even know.) Goodness knows Kean has a multitude of negatives. Menendez will be one-thousand-percent worse. That's the choice we face here.

I live in the land of the "Dumbest Man in the Senate". Delaware. Also the home of RINO, Mike Castle.
I love Brett Schundler and wish he were running: however, Menendez, Corzine, Lautenberg et al, must be stopped. And let's not forget Jim McGreevey and Bob Torricelli. Mendendez actually makes me miss The Torch! So, if I lived in NJ I would reluctantly vote for Kean.
I agree with you. I would vote for Kean - not my favorite - but still much better than Menendez.

That's ok - if I still lived in NJ, the thought of "Senator Menendez" would turn my stomach. I feel, first your stop these corrupt Demo politicos (and by the way, McGreevey will return one day), then you get rid of the RINOs by having primaries against them.

I am appalled at everything Kean is saying these days, but he knows, he will not get any important committee position unless he tows the Republican line to a certain degree.
Will he vote for conservative judges? Depends on how much pressure is put on him. Will Menedez? When hell freezes over.

My MIL has Parkinson's. The symptoms of Dyskenisia are strikingly similar to those of the actual disease which it is why it is so difficult to titrate the dose, especially in the Elderly.

I think it is important first to stop the Demo machine - and then to get the Republicans to toe the line. I know that NJ is a tough state - I live in NY - but D'Amato lost when he started acting like a liberal. They hated him ANYWAY!
Like many other conservatives, I can no longer support Tom Kean Jr. I urge other conservatives who may have considered voting for him to reconsider. Perhaps, a write-in vote for yourself will fill the bill. It seems that in New Jersey all the players follow the script of the bosses.
The Tom 'Mc'Kean comment(s) are over the top and is the reason why conservatives MUST demand more from Republicans wearing RINO clothing. Like John McCain whose microphone antics are legendary when attacking conservative ideals and opinions, Tom Kean Jr. is following the wrong pied piper.
Apolygize now Mr. Kean to Don Rumsfeld, Dennis Hastert and Rush Limbaugh. Do yourself a big favor and get educated before engaging your mouth. It will do you well.
I can't vote for Kean either. If I thought the Jersey Republicans were less corrupt than the Dems, I might reconsider.
I don't like Kean - I was not wild about Forrester either - but these Dems must be stopped - and now!!! don't forget the stunts that Lautenberg, Torricelli and McGreavey pulled. If Menendez is defeated it may be the beginning of the end for that machine.
