I want the answer to whether Prot thinks Ken Blackwell is 'liberal.'

Let me know if he ever has the guts to say what he really means by the term, OK, Rockin?

For all we know with all the games he plays, he thinks of Blackwell as a liberal just because he has an R after his name.

I'm still waiting for the Prot to say whether he thinks Ken Blackwell is a liberal.

In rereading his posts, he has an uncanny knack of saying lots of words, asking tons of questions, dodging answering any and belittling everyone.

If I would venture a guess, I'd say he's a liberal academician (political science?). He smells like one. He's all games and no substance.....ALL the time. A veritable mental gymnast with no floor to land on.

Maybe he'll join his buddies on this thread in the kingdom of the banned, eh?? We can always hope......

I seldom agree wholeheartedly, but I no longer care for the R v D nonsense. I have backed away from being a longtime R supporter, to one who will vote strictly on the person. I admit, I never supported GW in his first run during the primaries, but I supported him in every election since, and ALL R's on any ballot. I suspect that there are more people like me among the countries voters, than rock solid Republican voters. They could have easily swayed me with a few bones, like committing to building a fence.....talking about family values or even rejecting Dems that speak against the war effort non-stop. Heck, why the silence on the CNN videos? I know they have a right, but this President has a duty to defend our men in combat, and our honor. CNN has soiled out honor in a way I cannot believe could happen without repurcussion.

I know nothing about the man I agreed with, just that I tire of personal attacks instead of reasoned debate. There are more people on this site that will call names before engaging in conversation, than ever before, and I despise that.

You have some good points. I was very angry for a long time ( during the alien marches, that was the most recent). I am not angry anymore at the Repubs. They may not DESERVE to be re-elected, but the American people deserve better than the Dems offer. That's what's it's about for me. I will do whatever it takes to vote a straight Repub ticket this year. I am energized. This is bigger than me, or my anger. I hope you can reconsider.

Voting for conservatives who have as much of a chance to get elected as the Browns have of winning the Super Bowl to get more conservative is a pretty bizzare concept in MY view.

Ok, I'll mark you down as saying that voting for liberals because they can get elected, is better than voting for conservatives who you judge to be unelectable as a way to get more conservative governance.

1. What, in your view, IS a liberal?

2. Do you consider Ken Blackwell to be a liberal?

No mockery of others (though you do that to perfection). No games. No whining. No mental gymnastics. No questions in response to questions. No hiding.

Just answer the questions.

There is no way to have a rational discussion with a game-playing, picture-posting boy like you. Just say what you think.

Can you do it?? Can you be taken seriously as a thoughtful conservative?

There are hundreds upon hundreds of posters with which a serious conservative like me can have serious discussion about serious issues.

If the best we can say about our candidates is "Well, the other guy is worse", then we have lost our way.

You have (probably unintentionally) put up a straw man here. The position of people like me is more like "We have a choice between a party that is not conservative enough and the party of treason and child murder."

If you are willing, through action or inaction, to hand a branch of the federal government to the party of treason and child murder, then you have a serious problem dealing with reality.
