DUmmie FUnnies 06-27-06 (DUmmie Freudenschade Over Rush Limbaugh "Drug Bust")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | June 27, 2006 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Freudenschade, baby! They NEVER learn. Once again we had premature DUmmie celebrations over an event that fails to happen as you can see in this THREAD titled, "Limbaugh Detained At Airport (illegal prescription drugs...and viagra!)." In this case, the non-event that the DUmmies were celebrating was the "drug bust" of Rush Limbaugh yesterday at Palm Beach International Airport. I put "drug bust" in quotes because there was NO drug bust. What happened was that officials found Viagra in Rush's luggage, questioned him about it, and then released him. NO bust. The Viagra was prescribed by his doctor under his name so as to avoid such publicity as what happened yesterday. That's it but you would have thought the DUmmies were celebrating a MAJOR victory. Let's see... They lost the Presidential election in 2000. Then lost the Senate in 2002. And then lost the Presidential election again in 2004. More recently, after much celebrating of Karl Rove's indictment, they found out that he had NOT been indicted. So last night they were despertate for something, ANYTHING to celebrate. And true to form they celebrated an event that did NOT happen. So let us now watch the Freudenschade celebrations of the DUmmies in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, about to take a non-prescription aspirin, is in the [brackets]:

Limbaugh Detained At Airport (illegal prescription drugs...and viagra!)

[Break out the champagne! After years of being complete LOSERS, we DUmmies finally have something to celebrate! YIPPEE!!!]

Limbaugh Detained At Airport

(CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.

Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.

Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.

Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.

[Now let the DUmmie celebrations begin...until Lucy pulls her football away again.]

The real question is were there any "pain killers"!!!!!!!

[The real answer is "no"!!!!!!!!!]

Kind of sad they noted the Viagra. He could have gotten that legally. If it was most other people I'd feel bad for him.

[Kind of sad for you that he DID get it legally.]

It's folks like him that helped make the law like that. He broke the law, he should do the time.

[ARREST the 20% of the adult male population who are using Viagra!]

Hopefully this gas bag will not be on the air anymore, but I have wishful thinking.

[VERY wishful.]

Exploiting poor women and children...The Dominican Republic sex trips and tourism are well known to men from around the world.

[Since there is no proof that this is what Rush was doing down there, he MUST be guilty!]

"The real question is were there any "pain killers"!!!!!!!" If the answer is YES, Rush should get jail time, i.e., he breeched his legal agreement to NOT acquire Pain Killers in any way, shape or form.

[Unfortunately for you, the answer is NO.]

That is my prayer also!!!!!

[Dear goddess in DUmmie Heaven. Please make it so Rush has illegal drugs on him so he will go to jail and won't be on the air to shine the beacon of uncomfortable truth on us. A-womyn.]

My sentiments exactly - there may be a God. please let him get sent off to prison!

[DUmmies admitting there may be a God but ONLY if Rush gets busted.]

At least this latest news SHOULD shoot his credibility all to hell ... even with the Right Wing Kool-Aid drinkers? It should! I knew from my past professional and personal experiences with addiction, NO body goes from Oxycotin Toxic to SOBER in a 30 day treatment regimen.

[Yeah, Rush's credibility is shot to hell because he was found with exactly ZERO illegal substances.]

If there was a god, he never would have become famous.

[A DUmmie making the case for atheism.]

Hahahahahahahahaha! Schadefreunde is so much fun!

[Hahahahahahahaha! Freudenschade is even MORE fun!]

Parole violation! Off to the slammer!

[Spaketh DUmmie IndianaGreen who demands all sorts of legal hearings for the Gitmo terrorists.]

Wake up Fundies, the man intends to deliberately break one of Gods laws. Boycott Rush. Write to his stations about what an evil man he is!

[Wake up DUmmies, WHERE is that law written? You mean the 11th Commandment that Moses brought down from Mt. Sinai said, "Though shalt not use Viagra?"]

Once the laws are changed so that regular Americans aren't imprisoned for what he has done, then I will withhold commenting on his breaking of the law.

[Yes, millions of Americans have been imprisoned for owning Viagra.]

If he didn't get on his radio show and blame poor people, black people and anyone else downtrodden that happened to have a drug problem for their addictions I might agree with you. He spouted that they should be thrown in jail..and the key thrown away...

[Could you give us the date of the show where Rush "spouted" that? You might find this task a bit difficult since it NEVER happened.]

The freeps don't know about it yet...or they don't want to discuss it.

[The freeps are now laughing at another case of Freudenschade blowing up in your face since NO illegal drugs were found as you first thought.]

I don't think Viagra is illegal.... Gosh...I just hate this...it has to be bogus.

[Disappointing isn't it? Freudenschade, baby!]

Jail him. I agree with IndianaGreen on this one, this is either a parole violation or a plea deal violation. I'm sure that under the conditions of his "plea deal" he was supposed to stay clean. He didn't so he should go to trial and then to jail.

[Psst! I guess you didn't get the word yet---NO illegal drugs were found. Freudenschade, baby!]

I am in San Diego. I go to TJ. 25$ for script from Dr. and under 40$ for 90 day supply of ANYTHING. Completely legal to come back across the border. You just declare your meds, show your prescription and your home. No records here. BTW Viagra is over the counter in Mexico. I would imagine it is the same in DR. I think the news article may not be truthful.

[I used to make that trip to TJ myself. Not for Viagra but for cheap prescription drugs for my relatives. They are less than a third of the USA price. Oh, but before returning to the States, I would always indulge in lots of intoxicating substances called cerveza.]

. If there's just Viagra, he can probably skate, BUT, the way the thing was written up, it sounds as though there were other pills in the bottle BESIDES Viagra. And THAT's where the problem will really come in for him. What pills were they???? What were they for?

[Freudenschade, baby! There were NO other pills in the bottle.]

Drudge has a "source" that says that he had no illegal drugs.
UPDATE: Rush Limbaugh 'had no illegal drugs or prescription drug obtained illegally in his possession,' source says, contrary to a claim by CBS-TV in Miami... MORE...

[Just when the DUmmies thought they finally found JOY in their lives, it is DESTROYED by cold hard reality.]

Looks like to me, AP is withholding some information... Of course, AP is RW hack.

[And what Alternative Universe do you live in to think that AP is RW?]

The viagra bit is good for a laugh. But you have to wonder what the other drugs were.

[It was a drug called "Thin Air."]

Notice how the headlines have dropped "other drugs"! the coverup has begun

[No, the FACTS have come out. Freudenschade, baby!]

I'll be on the lookout for you. You will be the one with no head! It's very dangerous to go South for drugs these days, even TJ. Heck, it's dangerous to go South period!

Oh come on give me a break. When I was in private practice, I handed out samples all of the time. That is what they make samples for. An yes, I signed for them in my name to be handed out to patients.

I bet you are being a hypocrite. Have you ever recieved the first day of antibiotics free from your doctor? I'll even bet you are a double hypocrite, have you asked for free samples?

That's funny, I heard about it right here at FR as the story broke. Once again it was the elusive media sasquatch.

This is criminal stupidity on Rush's part. Now that we know that Rush has a doctor who isn't adverse to breaking the law by prescribing pills under a false name and giving them to another party, what is to assure us that this doctor hasn't done the same with other, more serious pills?

I honestly don't know what the law is on this, but some in FR are saying that what Rush did is perfectly legal. Here's a post from FReeper cb on the long Rush Limbaugh "drug bust" thread:

very silly. Wife is a pharmacist says she has seen scripts with doctors name for someone else in order to ensure privacy. The label, if we can believe the report, said filled for rush in doctors name to ensure privacy. This would be filed under the drs name and not rush's but his name was on the label. Perfectly legal and done occasionally. Agent who confiscated the bottle was on a mission.

It actually may be that Rush did nothing illegal. I just don't know. However, I've started to take a different stance with media reports, these days. I usually figure that on the first day, we don't have the whole story, just the hysteria-generating part. Now, I like to wait a few days for all of the facts to come in and for everything to shake out. I'm holding my fire.

Very wise.

I'm sorry, does the news report say they were samples?

Here's the statement from Rush's lawyer:While going through routine Customs inspection of luggage at Palm Beach International Airport upon his return from an international trip, Rush Limbaugh was detained by customs agents after they noticed a non-narcotic prescription drug, which had been prescribed by Mr. Limbaugh's treating physician but labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes.

Doesn't mention that they were free samples. Says they were prescribed, but "labeled" for privacy.

I bet you are being a hypocrite. Have you ever recieved the first day of antibiotics free from your doctor? I'll even bet you are a double hypocrite, have you asked for free samples?

You sound like a name-caller. Have you ever considered knocking it off?

I don't know either, i'm just reacting to the information given. If there is a procedure in the law for doing this, then all is hunky dory.

My point is that it raises suspicion about what other prescriptions might be "cloaked" for Rush's "privacy." If his goal was to avoid disclosure of his erectile disfunction, it sure backfired.

Why did Rush have the Viagra in his suitcase? That was dumb. Should have had it in his pocket (it's all plastic) and walked through the detector. No one would have known.

My doctor has given me numerous samples for drugs that I have tried. Guess we both belong in the slammer... (including Viagra, but thats a story for a different thread, probably on another forum :)

I re-read your post, and I agree actually. Except about the criminal stupidity part. Fact is however, Rush needs to know that he is a target, and should take extra care.

God exists but He wants us to love our enemies.

The left doesn't want Rush sent to prison because of drugs. They are for dopers rights.

The left wants Rush imprisoned because they abhor his political speech. That is leftist despotism. Political correctness run amok.

Not discussing it? Is he kidding? We discussed it to death last night, and I got hammmered like a tent peg for daring to suggest that the CBP Officers who examined him in secondary were NOT on a partisan witch hunt but just doing their job.

The question of the day is "WHO TOLD THE MEDIA?"

I take 3 prescriptions and I keep them in one of those little plastic cases with the days of the week on them. I could never remember if I had taken them or not if I kept them in the bottles. I even take them like this on trips but it never occurred to me that I should keep them in the original bottles.

I do the same, because I'm a scatterbrain. But my plastic container sits right next to the bottles.

When I went on a cruise last year, I took the bottles and my plastic holder. Once I was in the cabin, into the holder they went. Before disembarking, back to the bottle. I wasn't checked, but just in case...

I'm guessing that the prosecutor who originally went after Rush is probably looking for every opportunity to tip the media...it wouldn't surprise me if he heard, somehow, and made a call.

Yikes! I'm pretty stupid - I just had a month of international travel, and had my meds all together in my week-dispenser, with no original bottles. Of course, I always end up declaring things that don't need declared, and they give me a funny, disgusted look and then wave me through without checking - but I guess that could have gotten ugly if they had checked my bags.
