I'm SO glad you've branched out into the KOmmies - they're just as crazy as the DUmmies although they don't use quite as much profanity, and are better spellers. This is just great: Karl Rove, master of the universe, is getting them to concentrate all of their (non-existant) firepower on him, which will distract them from such mundane things as (1) having any connection with reality; (2) getting any attention from anyone with any connection to reality; and (3) actually voting. Good work, Karl; you've done it again!

I recently lasted a mere 4 posts and 30 minutes before I was nuked by the DU political commissars. I merely honestly and politely answered the insanity and evil I read, before the INGSOC (Orwellian) thought police made me an unperson.

I don't even know what to say to this delusional person except that I think he/she may be acting like a cheer leader of sorts, urging his group on. KOSsacks, they apparently have a higher IQ than the average DUmmies, but they are just as dumb. In fact, their marginally higher intelligence makes the delusion run deeper.
Rove's tactic is always a sort of perversion of jujitsu: in addition to taking his opponent's strength and using it against them, he takes his own side's weakness and plays it as a strength. So not only does war hero John Kerry get painted as a coward and Max Cleland as un-American, but George W. Bush gets portrayed as a successful businessman, a Texan, and a military man, all of which are false.
Both sides of the truth need to get inverted in the Rovean world, and this is what he's done here. Of course progressives, understood broadly, have pioneered the blogosphere as a political vehicle, and to say that it's only radical leftists that have benefited is absurd. But conversely, to the extent that the Right has used blogs, it is the extreme right that has benefited.

I will admit that there are some fair minded folks on the KOSsack thread that are trying to enlighten Detroit Mark and the KOMmies that in fact, there are a vast number of "right wingers" on the Internet and that we should not be trifled with.
