The black crepe is out at [the Daily] Kos...
I don't think I've ever seen such a look of misery and dejection on the face of my daughter as I just did a moment ago. She just couldn't understand why the President would be going to Iraq when so many things are wrong in this country. "Doesnt Mr. Bush care about us anymore?" she asked pitifully. You know, you have to have a heart of stone to be able to read this and not laugh out loud. I'll confess, regretfully, that I wasn't up to the task.I sat down with her on the sofa and (as calmly as I could) tried to explain to her why the President seems to be abandoning his country. "Honey, I think his boss, Mr. Rove, sent Mr. Bush out of the country in order to keep himself out of the newspapers. You see, he wasnt sure if he was going to be arrested today or not, and so he planned Mr. Bushs trip ahead of time just in case...
I tried to keep my voice steady, but it became increasingly difficult - the rage and feelings of helplessness were just too much. I think my daughter could tell something was wrong. I found myself at such a loss for words - nothing made any sense; nothing makes sense anymore. I finally had to admit, "Honey, I just don't know - I don't know what's going on in this country anymore..."
When I finished her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes began to fill with tears, "Daddy" she said, "why are the Republicans doing this to the country?" Well, that was it for me: I finally fell apart. She just fell into my arms and we both began sobbing for several minutes.
I wouldn't feel too bad considering the fact that it's probably about 98% fantasy to begin with.
Good god, what child abuse, are suicide belts next?
Good grief! How can anyone be such an idiot as to think our president never leaves the country? Ol' BJ was gone more than he was here. The president pays state visits and less formal visits all the time - that's part of his JOB!! This guy's so stupid he probably had to be taught how to breathe.
And some teacher's gonna' have to come along and try to teach that child the concept of LOGIC.
hilfreakinarious
If there really is such a "little girl", (I doubt it) I really do feel bad that she has such a barking moonbat for a parent who is twisting her head with melodramatic nonsense.
I'd call it child abuse.
I'm not surprised. he's probably told his daughter all about how Republican drown puppies in burlap sacks and wallow around naked in our vast piles of cash.
Just like a liberal, all heart and no brains....
I prefer to bash kittens with a ball peen hammer myself, so I can watch the expressions on their faces. Regarding wallowing naked in my pile of cash, at least I don't wrap it up in tinfoil and stash it in my freezer like lasagna.
"When I finished her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes began to fill with tears, "Daddy" she said, "why are the Republicans doing this to the country?" Well, that was it for me: I finally fell apart. She just fell into my arms and we both began sobbing for several minutes."
BWAHahahahahaha. And then her other daddy came into the room and joined the group cry...
I think someone is jerking the DUmmies chain - and they are too stupid to realize it
Don't... she's probably plotting to kill him anyway.
Oh please. Besides the fact that this story reeks, if this girl is as young as it appears, by the way he is talking to her, she is as hip to current events as Bubba was when he and his nine year old buddies sat in the back of the bus to show solidarity with Rosa Parks.
The "little girl" is probably in her twenties.
"Just like a liberal, all heart and no brains...."
This joker has a heart?
