Okay, here is the latest in the Hoaxmas saga. TruthOut followed up their first Partial Birth Apology with a SECOND Partial Birth Apology in which they AGAIN said nothing except they were sticking by their Hoaxmas story through Hell or High Water. As for Pied Piper Pitt. He is still MIA and is suspected of hiding out in the Furorbunker in the desperate hope that he can beat back the Hoaxmas backlash. Rumor has it that he is deluding himself with fantasy scenarios in which Hoaxmax may still turn out to be true. And he might be getting some sustenance from this Daily Kos FANTASY titled, "Did Gonzales Kill Fitz's Rove Indictments?" According to this latest delusion, Rove really was indicted during a 15 hour lockdown (later amended to ALL DAY Friday and into Saturday night by the second TruthOut "explanation") of the the entire 4th floor of Patton Boggs but that indictment was KILLED by the Attorney General. Of course, to believe that story, one needs to believe that the cat of Rove's attorney, Robert Luskin, was not taken to the vet on that same day to check on the health of its STOOLS. Jason Leopold has stated that he will now try to disprove Luskin's alibi by calling every vet in a 20 mile radius of Washington, D.C.. So let us now explore the latest Leftist Fitzmas fantasy in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who is dedicating this DUFU edition to Luskin's cat with the healthy stools, is in the [brackets]:
The Wayne Madsen Report and the Chris Matthews Show have both floated the theory that Fitzgerald had secured indictments against Rove, but Gonzales --via McNulty-- came in at the last second and used his power as Fitzgerald's superior to kill the indictments.
[Wayne Madsen is considered to be so unreliable that his reports have been BANNED from DUmmieland which judging from what is normally permitted there must some sort of new low in lack of credibility. But continue my appropriately named Kossack, JiggyFlunknut...]
IF, this theory is true, Fitzgerald would have likely challenged McNulty's decision in court, pointing to an earlier administrative directive from then acting Attorney General James Comey that gave Fitzerald the "authority of the Attorney General." Comey is long gone, however, and was replaced by McNulty. The question then becomes what, if any, value does Comey's administrative directive have today.
[A very big IF there, Flunknut. And the theory is easily disproven by the Luskin cat stool check.]
One unfortunate realty of this scenario is that if the judge sides with McNulty, we will never know what really happened, because it will remained sealed. Which, is one explanation about why Rove is acting so smug these days and why the White House has not pulled back his public schedule.
[Or maybe Rove is so smug because he knows that a sample of the Luskin cat stools stored in a vet's lockbox in the D.C. area gives him a rock solid alibi that he never even met with Fitzgerald on May 12. And now to let the other Kossacks chime in...]

Being a newbie to the Dummie Funnies, I had no idea what the heck you meant. So, I looked it up.
Kitty litter seems like such an obvious thing now but it took someone to actually MARKET it. I think the basic extra ingredient was to add a bit of deodorant to the gravel dirt.

I took a quick look at that DUmmie link but will have to look at it again in 2 hours. The 2-hour finale of 24 is coming up and that time is sacred to me.
Well, if kitty litter didn't already exist when we had our cat, we probably would have invented it. We didn't want to spend money on litter, so that's why we were constantly brining dirt inside. This was during the mid-60's, so kitty litter was already being sold.

I have never understood the "I am a dog guy", "I am a cat person" argument. Maybe it's because people in cities don't have working cats. We have two dogs, and they are excellent hunting/watch dogs. Dogs are loyal, and friendly and all that and more-we love our dogs, and our all the other animals. When it comes to cats, I have seen a 10lb cat with attitude take on and win over a 45lb dog. Our barn cats do not suffer being messed with, will work themselves to death killing rodents & will defend their litters to the death.
In the winter, we offer them a warm bed inside beside the fire and they will take it and even give you some attention if you are worth the trouble. We take care of their medical needs and make sure we don't keep to many kittens from the litters.
I guess the real reason I like cats is because they are independent and pre-programmed. Dogs are great companions, but watching a cat who is a born perfect killer never fails to amaze me.

Dogs are lovable and faithful companions, and I love the big happy go lucky neighborhood mongrel who makes the rounds on our gravel country road every day mooching scraps from each house with a big toothy grin and a foot-long red tongue. Nobody claims him, but almost everyone feeds him. He's like a big live teddy bear.
But cats are more fascinating to me because they act so totally independent and are such individualists. My daughter had cats in the house from the time she was a toddler until the time she went off to college. I became very attached to each one, and each one had a different personality. But the trouble with cats is that they seem to be susceptible to so many fatal diseases that many of them stay around just long enough for you to miss them when they check out.
I still miss my 15lb pure white Kokomo. He passed on from kidney disease 5 years ago, and I swore never to have another pet. Talk about a killing machine, he was a born assassin. Every night, rain or snow, 10 below or 80 above, made no difference, about 11 PM he would go sit at the front door and look up at the window until I came and let him out. About 2AM I would be awakened by him meowing at the door. I would let him in, and see a neat row of assorted dead and mangled rodents lying on the porch floor, usually a couple of mice, a mole or two, and several of those little things that live in the grass around here. I think they're called voles, but not sure. He would run in and go straight to the kitchen range where he would deposit on the floor whatever unfortunate rodent he caught last. He was like, OK here it is let's get it cooked. Then he would visit his food dish for a late snack, then go to my recliner chair and sleep for about 18 hours until it was dark outside again.
Kokomo was my main man for 6 years, and I still think of him almost every day when I see something around the place that reminds me of him. I decided that I don't want to go through losing another good and fascinating friend like him, so I won't be having another cat or dog from here on in. Maybe I'll get a turtle, they say turtles live longer than humans.
Hmmmm, this might seem obscure to some, but it sounds as if the DUmmie "MissWaverly" has been prowling around in the "lounge" (or "general discussion") of the other conservative web-site.
Nothing significant in this; it's just that I watch the DUmmies watching us watching the DUmmies.
Yes, it is silly, but because it's my fellow alum the sullen saturnine rugbyite Head Warden "Skinner"'s web-site, a private company, one supposes he has the right to show the donations in any way he wishes, or even not to show them at all.
Of course, it would be too much to insist he should be as upfront and straightforward as we Republicans and conservatives, who post dollar amounts.
About this same time last year, my fellow alum publicly admitted that the "take" per quarterly fund-raiser in DUmmieland was circa $25,000, or $100,000 per year. Give or take a few thousand. I find that claim credible.
As for the "average" donation, I am going out on a limb here, pure guessing. Hundreds of moles chip in $5 or $10, and then of course my fellow alum is in tight with a close cabal of affluent Democrats (regular Democrats, not DUmmies), who possibly contribute into the three figures, $100, $500, somesuch, so as to encourage him in his hobby.
This is just speculation, but I suppose "$30" would be a good guess as to an "average," from all sources.
