[Dammit, why can't liberals produce radio shows with high enough ratings to actually GENERATE ad revenue? The "rethugs" didn't bring Fox News to national prominence. It was RATINGS due to high viewership that translates into AD REVENUE.]

You're talking basic economic reality, a totally foreign concept to DUmmies. The only economic system they know anything about is socialism, i.e., MSP (mutual shared poverty).

I wonder if thery are still beaming far and wide on that 5 watt powerhouse in Taos, NM.

Wow, ErrAmerica is carried on a 5 watt station in NM?? Where does it operate from, an old VW bus painted with peace symbols and flowers?

I used to have a hand held CB radio that transmitted on 5 watts. It's signal was supposed to carry 5 miles, but it in the real world it would only carry about 1 mile on a good day. I bet there aren't more than a dozen ErrAmerica listeners in that little station's coverage area.

I went online also, and saw no listing of it. Strange, eh? Must have fizzled out or something. Or the NHC e-mail's goofing around.

Um...Look at the date. June 8, 2006. Mighty powerful powers of prognostication there to forecast a tropical depression over a month in ADVANCE.

I'm glad they're getting off WBLI. The reception is awful. That's one of the reasons they aren't getting listeners.

BZZZZZT, wrong again my little DUmmie friend. ErrAmerica doesn't get listeners because it's programming is even more boring than listening to grass grow. I would bet a Krispy Kreme donut that even dedicated left wing moonbats like you DU guys can't take if for over an hour without nodding off.

ErrAmerica is going off the air and I haven't been able to hear it even one time. Bummer!

Here's the equivalent of any period -- whether it's five minutes or two hours -- of listening to ErrAmerica: *ahem* "the Bush Criminal family"..."that stupid Bush"..."Karl Rove scheme"..."corrupt Republicans"...

One less thing to worry about on your deathbed.

I SPOTTED a pod of three manatees in the canal on Sunday. I thought it was a big deal and even contacted the local TV news about it. Turns out those manatees are regulars

When I lived in FL a few years ago I spotted a Florida panther lying dead on the berm of I-75 just north of Ft. Myers. I stopped the car and walked back to examine the body to make sure it was a panther, and there was no doubt about it's identity.

At that time there was supposed to only be something like 25-30 of those big cats left in FL, and the state wildlife agency ran TV spots urging people not to harm any big cat they might see. I thought it was incredible to find one dead on the roadside, so I immediately called the FL state wildlife agency and reported it, including the mile marker number near the dead animal.

The woman who took my call seemed uninterested and thanked me for the call in a sarcastic tone of voice. I insisted that I wasn't a prank caller, and she finally agreed to notify an agent in that area to check it out. I left my name and phone number and asked to be notified if the agent found the dead panther, but I never heard anything more about it. So much for trying to be a good little conservationist.

I think *we*do* have to expect to provide regular grants to AAR... The big advertizers are boycotting their liberal, anti-corporate shows no matter how many people listen. AAR and DemocracyNow! are *ours* and we have to support them.

You are only 10 dollars away from saving AAR... ROFLMAO!!!!

AAR has always had low ratings in NY.

WHAT? This cannot be true. Just a couple months ago the DUmmies were salivating about how Randi Rhodes Rolls was TROUNCING Hannity in New York. I never did see the actual Arbitron ratings that proved that true. Hmmm...

I figured that ErrA. was like that because I have seen Al Faken and Jeanene Grouchyo ranting and foaming at the mouth on Tv from time to time.

The sad thing is that libs can say that Air America's demise proves nothing about the viability of lib radio...because Air America sucks so badly that if they were conservatives they'd still be going down like a rock in water.

[You have to really suck bad if Blowhard Ed Schultz can bounce you from the airwaves.]

Ed blows, they suck--nice arrangement. Now, can we work MegaMaid in there somewhere?

Well, slap my mouth. I didn't even notice that. I wonder how/why I got the e-mail?!? I know, it's Al Gore sending them out trying to whip people into a frenzy - storms starting a full month before hurricane season.

Ah! But, they could always have a money drive like in Phoenix and dance around about being able to put their wonderful Airheads America back on.

So much so that those of us with other efforts to promote ( in my case White Rose and Head On Radio Network) have found the well to be dry.

There really must be a special place in Hell for people who put the name "White Rose" on their partisan political efforts.

Do you expect Randi Rhodes to broadcast her show al fresco in Central Park while peddling generator bike pedals to power the signal? Actually, on second thought, not such a bad idea.]

She's selling those bikes pedals? Can't get much sales volume on that.

Lightening destroyed benburch's radio equipment? Why was he trying to reduce its weght, was he broadcasting from a zeppelin?

Sorry, couldn't resist. Ducking now.
