Here is something I found about extracting wood DNA - http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20020921/bob8.asp "researchers have made progress extracting DNA from wood, a difficult challenge in itself because wood is made up mostly of empty dead cells." IF this is true, then she should have said something immediately, and her injuries would have been different, IMO. Many ifs here. The father shouldn't be talking. Not good for anyone.

The thing is, this wasn't mentioned before because they didn't know that DNA was going to enter into it(weren't thinking you know). They had to come up with a cover story to explain the lack of DNA, it is pretty obvious that is what is going on.

Being raped by a broom is something that she would have known from the start so why did they do DNA analysis claiming that the test would implicate the guys?....she would have known that no such DNA would be found.....this sounds like a case of 'make the story match the evidence'.

Now wait a minute. If they used the broomstick INSTEAD of ... you know, whatever... then there would be no DNA. But in the next quote it says they used one IN ADDITION TO raping her, which would not magically erase DNA. This makes no sense.
