It occurs to me I haven't written anything humorous for a while. For a season, my life revolved around court dates in Pittsburgh to obtain PFA's (Protection from Abuse) from my ex-boyfriend. There's not anything really fun to write about that whole matter... but at least I have some closure now.
In order for my ex to sign a temporary six-month PFA, he wanted three conditions. 1) A picture of my cats (I say mine because they were pooping in litter boxes in my apartment long before he began stinking up my bathroom)
sounds serious...
Why? Is he repentant? I don't think you owe an unrepentant sinner "forgiveness". I'm a struggling Christian myself, but I think it would be okay to be PO'd at the creep if he hasn't shown any effort to change and/or be forgiven.
He might say he's a "Christian" but from your description of him he ain't acting like one. Good luck to you and I hope he truly leaves you alone. :o)
Please be careful.
I think Pennsylvania has fairly reasonable concealed carry laws.

Thanks for reading and responding. This has been such a stressful experience... it helps me to write about it and talk with freeper-friends. Thanks again :-)
You are more than welcome. As a guy who grew up with 6 sisters and has a daughter of his own, I deeply believe that the ladies should avail themselves of all available "equalizers".
I sometimes feel that "equalizers" are not the best answer, either. When my son and daughter reached the age of 8, I enrolled them in a Tae Kwon Do class. Both are now Black Belts. My son, who is now 19, lives and goes to school in downtown Chicago. He is confident enough to feel secure any place he has to go, but he also uses enough reason to NOT go places he shouldn't.
My daughter is a Senior in High School, and is just as confident.
Both kids had to use those skills once in life, but ONLY once. NOBODY messes with either one, and haven't since my daughter decked a bully in 4th grade.
