For all Bushs good qualities, the man cant not spend money.
This republican congress and president has spent an obscene amount of money. I find this behavior to be irresponsible during a time of war, to say the least. I know Ive ranted about it before at length, but Ill say it again: the federal governments spending habits have far exceeded its constitutional mandate, and something has to be done.

Just as long as it is on a fence to keep the illegals out, its OK with me.
The money we're spending could have BOUGHT Mexico!
That's a great campaign slogan - "This Crap Has Got to Stop."

Even though Roosevelt was a socialists at heart, during the war he cut social programs to nearly nothing. Now that shows you where he truely had his values.
And sell it to Japan for a 10% margin. Not a bad idea, actually. It's too bad we don't border a country like Japan...then immigration would be solidified for sure. Although Japan does show you what no immigration does (that and lack of baby making)...it just leaves your country with old people, and a dying productive class. It's funny how a rational society doesn't produce enough, but a irrational society produces more than they can care for.
