DUmmie FUnnies 02-02-06 ("Sheehan just called Feinstein a War Monger on Stephanie Miller")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | February 2, 2006 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

She's running folks! Yes, you can bet on it. Diane Feinstein should have NEVER laughed at the possibility of Cindy Sheehan's candidacy on Hardball. Now Cindy is MAD. And I am POSITIVE she is going to run against DiFi for the senate seat as you can see in this DUmmie THREAD titled, "Sheehan just called Feinstein a War Monger on Stephanie Miller." Yes, the future of the Democrat party is Cindy Sheehan. And for those of her who don't think she can beat DiFi, keep in mind this is CALIFORNIA we are talking about. The leftwing Democrats in Northern California are the biggest NUTJOBS imaginable. This should be FUn to watch. Oh, and on a personal note, I actually worked with Stephanie Miller for a short while at the Laugh Factory while helping to manage the place. The discrepancy between the phony radio personality and the real life personality of someone could be no greater than that possessed by Stephanie Miller. Although she sounds amiable in a loudmouthed sort of way on the radio, in real life Miller talked less than a clam with an introverted personality to match. She made no real impression on anybody other than a quiet cold stare that warned everybody that she wished to remain in her personality shell. So let us now watch Cindy make the Democrats as relevant as the Whigs in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, enjoying the spectacle of the Democrat party being Sheehanized, is in the [brackets]:

Sheehan just called Feinstein a War Monger on Stephanie Miller

[Run, Cindy, RUN!]

Stephanie was asking her about her plans for a Senate run. Just thought you all should know

[Diane Feinstein pretty much sealed her fate when she laughed at the possiblity of a Cindy Sheehan candidacy on Hardball with Chris Matthews.]

thats a bit over the top no chance she beats Feinstein.

[Oh, I think California has enough leftwing nutcases for Sheehan to beat DiFi in the primary.]

not the point of the post - point was to show the vernacular Sheehan is already using even though she has not even filed yet

[Beautiful! It will be FUn to see how the Democrats try to tear down Sheehan after building her up. She is already a leftist icon for the likes of David Letterman and others.]

calling her a warmonger for voting for IWR is not rational

[HOW DARE YOU accuse Cindy Sheehan not being rational!]

Warren Beatty: We could have BULWORTH WOOHOOO!!!! Beatty should run!

[Hey, it's California. Let ALL the leftwing nutjobs run!]

Her husband's company is making money off this war so it's perfect.

[And now DiFi's hubby is pissed that his wife laughed at Cindy at Hardball.]

I'm sorry but that's just two-faced Cindy said she would not run if Feinstein voted against Alito and for the fillibuster. Yet now that Feinstein did both, she's going to run anyway?I'm sorry but I just can't support her when she does these types of things.

[That was done just to see how far Cindy could make DiFi her personal sockpuppet. Now that DiFi has shown she has no spine, she will be Sheehanized.]

I don't like the black mail element either. I love most of what Cindy does, but at times I admit I cringe.

[And yet all of DUmmieland CHEERED when Cindy blackmailed DiFi into supporting the Alito filibuster.]

I thought she said that she would run if Feinstein voted against the filibuster. Maybe I'm just splitting hairs but there is a difference.

[True but Cindy also didn't say she wouldn't run if DiFi supported the filibuster. Heads, I win. Tails, you lose.]

I have all the sympathy in the world for Cindy and agree with so much of what she says. However, I think she or whoever is advising her do not see her 'limitations' as a candidate and as a spokesperson for those of us against the war and against Bush.

[Oh, so now after boosting Cindy, you are ready to ditch her? Ingrate!]

Given what Feinstein's hubby does for a living, I think she's right Army contract for Feinstein's husband Blum is a director of firm that will get up to $600 million URS Corp., a San Francisco planning and engineering firm partially owned by California Sen. Dianne Feinstein's husband, landed an Army contract Monday worth up to $600 million. The award to help with troop mobilization, weapons systems training and anti-terrorism efforts is the latest in a string of plum defense jobs snared by URS. In February, the firm won an army engineering and logistics contract that could bring in $3.1 billion during the next eight years. Government contracting has come under increasing scrutiny by Congress and citizen groups, with critics decrying the political connections of firms winning lucrative jobs. Richard Blum, Feinstein's husband, serves on the company's board of directors and controls about 24 percent of the firm's stock,

[Right now DiFi's hubby is grumbling to himself: "Why did she have to laugh at Sheehan on the tube?"]

Abso-freakin-lutely! DiFi just used the profits to buy a $16.5 million dollar house above Silicon Valley. Now where did the cash come from again...defense contracts through her hubby.

[The onslaught begins. Bye-bye DiFi!]

Ms. Sheehan has jumped the shark.... As far as I am concerned.

[Or perhaps DiFi giving in to Cindy's filibuster blackmail was DiFi's Jump the Shark moment.]

What do they want? If Cindy runs I am sending her a nice check and letter of total support. I support her 100%

[Cindy Sheehan is just $10 away from running against DiFi.]

Working for a defense contractor... Does not make one a war profiteer, and it certainly does not make his wife a warmonger... Secondly, her recent comments about Bill Clinton and Iraq sanctions, her cozying up to Hugo Chavez, and many of her other statements I flat out disagree with, and I do not think the Democratic Party should be embracing her.

[Tough luck. Cindy Sheehan is the future face of the Democrat party.]

agreed. plus she is not qualified to be a senator.

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

Defense Contractors are not merchants of death....most contractors are honest people doing a good and necessary job.

[Prepare for your imminent Tombstoning.

Her toadying up to Chavez will sink any hope she has of signficant office outside of dog catcher and even that may be beyond her grasp. That picture of her and Chavez along with her comments regarding the news coverage ignoring her during the hurricanes and no small number of other priceless soundbites would be in play as soon as she announced her intent.

[Remember those leftwing nutcases in California. They will be able to topple DiFi. I have confidence in them.]

She has gone from being a sympathetic figure simply trying to find out why her son had to sacrifice his life, into an ill-informed crusader for many far left causes. I thought her statement that Bill Clinton was responsible for more deaths in Iraq than George Bush to be reprehensible, her recent cozying up to Hugo Chavez further reduces her credibility in my eyes...and flaming statements like the comments made this morning about Diane Feinstein to be simply wrong and ignorant.

[Tough luck. The Dummies asked for Cindy Sheehan and now the Democrats are stuck with her.]

Cindy Sheehan is on her way to becoming a caricature of herself. Someone asked yesterday if Sheehan is becoming the new Rosa Parks. Asides from being a completely different set of circumstances and level of activism, there is a point where activism can surpass the good of the cause. Activism for the sake of activism. Fad is the wrong word, cult of personality is a closer analogy, although still not quite right. I think she's on the edge of descending into irrelevancy and hurting her true goal of stopping the War in Iraq and the general violent War on Terror. Much the same way ANSWER has become a blanket catch all for every cause under the sun, diluting its message, Sheehan is doing the same thing to herself.

[And this DUmmie wins a Kewpie Doll for have a brief moment of mental clarity!]

I think I'll just grab some popcorn and watch this one

[FUn, isn't it!]

If Cindy Sheehan runs against DiFi. She's got my vote.If she runs and wins the primary, she's got my vote again. Not only that, she'll have some bucks from my meager bank account.

[Break open your Piggy Bank! Cindy Sheehan WILL be running!]

Much the same way ANSWER has become a blanket catch all for every cause under the sun, diluting its message. . . .

That was September 24, wasn't it--(one of) The Day(s) When Everything Finally Changed--that big march on Washington, when A.N.S.W.E.R. managed to alienate even a lot of the moonbat DUmmies?

BLOWIN' WHAT YOU PLANNED
Tune: "Blowin' in the Wind"

How many folks must a peace group piss off
Before none are left to offend?
Yes, 'n' how many times must you cover their sign
Before you can't stop what they send?
Yes, 'n' how many days must you wake up with fleas
Before you discover a trend?
'Cause ANSWER's on hand and blowin' what you planned,
'Cause ANSWER is blowin' what you planned.

agreed. plus she is not qualified to be a senator.

Au contraire, Moonbat Sheehan does qualify.

US Constitution: "No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen."

I'm tempted to parody a bumper sticker just to see the reaction I'd get.

The only thing I'd add (in smaller print beneath) would be the "YEEEEEEHHAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGG!!!!!!!

But... isn't San Francisco a "military fee zone"? Shouldn't URS be run out of town on a rail for taking a military contract?

At least some of the DUmmies are dropping the BS line about how she "gave" her son to the war effort...

Slightly off-topic, but there is a DUmmie named Mr. Phool (Dr. Phool?) -- aptly named, I might say -- who is so PO'd at Bill Nelson (D-FL) for voting in favor of cloture on Alito, that he has decided to run against Nelson for his Senate seat. Do we know who this Phool is yet?

Wasn't it Ben Nelson of Nebraska who voted for cloture, not Bill Nelson of Florida?
