Help me make a list of movies Liberal Socialist do not want anyone to see.
Yes I know Helly-wood is a very liberal place am most movies are tainted with a liberal point of view. But some times good movies come out of there. There are movies that expose then or there are truths they do not want you to know. For whatever reason there are several movies liberals do not want us to see.
Here are some I can up with please add to my list if you can.
1. The Killing Fields (Because it sheds light on the truth behind Marxism)
2. Red Dawn (For obvious reasons)
3. We were Soldiers (Because it doesnt make the US military look like the bad guys)
4. All the Star Wars Movies (Because it supports the Idea of a republic form of government)
5. The Passion (For obvious reasons)
Can you come up with more?

There's a certain documentary about 9/11 by National Geographic of all people, which speaks up level truths about what led to the tragedy.

I would take the Star Wars movies off of the list - especially the recent 3 that were made.
While the movies are not overtly political, the Galactic Senate is more of a United Nations construct than one of a capitalist Democratic Republic.
In fact, an argument can be made that life under the Galactic Empire was probably better as the Senate was corrupt and completely unable to effective govern.
The move Gung Ho, with Michael Keaton may go on the list - it isn't really friendly to auto unions.

Why LOTR? I'm not disagreeing, I just didn't notice any political overtones in the series.

Lucas has tried to revise his original trilogy through his prequels. NOW it's supposed to be about multicultural liberals who rebel against the conservative government (he's consistently said that the Emperor is Nixon).
The Killing Fields is curious in that many libs see it as showing that socialism is "perverted"--note the John Lennon socialist fantasy "Imagine" playing over the final reunion.
I'll have to think about some conservative flicks. Conan? THX-1138? James Bond? Rambo?

It's just your basic Good v. Evil type story.
Most of those, especially some of the older stories, tend to be rather conservative in their outlook I think...

Lucas has tried to revise his original trilogy through his prequels. NOW it's supposed to be about multicultural liberals who rebel against the conservative government (he's consistently said that the Emperor is Nixon). I don't think that Lucas has been consistent about anything regarding the Star Wars story. At first he says it is about Vietnam and then he says it isn't.
I think that Lucas is just once talented guy going through a midlife crisis and the Star Wars stories are just stories and have no hidden meaning.

But The Killing Fields was John Lennon's song put into practice. You see Pol Pot did just what John Lennon song about He imaging all those things and put them into practice. Pol Pot must have been Lennon's biggest fan.

But that's not what the moviemakers were doing with it. As I said, they want the "real" socialism, not this "mistake". (Haven't you had that conversation with a socialist, that "It's never been done RIGHT"?)
