The anti-war "Amerikkka Sucks" crowd has found a new cause, kids. A new 'chink' in the U.S, armor that can be exploited in order to embarass their ideological enemies: President "Chimpy McHitler" Bush and the eeevil neocons.
Yes, I'm dramatizing, but how can anyone take this seriously?
The issue that is being brought out now is the aforementioned "shake and bake" tactic used by our artillery assets in the assault on Falluja last year. This consisted of firing a White Phosphorus munition, in order to get entrenched insurgents out of their holes, and then dropping HE (High-Explosive) rounds to finish them off.....

Did anyone mention any documentation? Any proof that civilians were affected? If this were true, this certainly would have been news last year?

White phosphorus has been used since WWI to make smoke and mark targets. I notice you are quite new to Freepers. Welcome aboard, you will get the truth here and we have a lot of active and ex military that can answer your questions. We have several that were in EOD to include myself that can educate you on munitions.
My experience in 40 years of munitions and dealing with the media about it, is the media don't even understand what they are reporting. Looking forward to hearing from you.

This is the story that just won't go away. I'm following it on another site and there are no less than 4 threads on it, along the lines of "Americans use WMD" blah blah blah.
