Rioting Spreads From Paris Across France
Vanity | November 5th, 2005

This isn't anywhere near as articulate or even tempered as other things I've posted here, but I've been thinking about it all week and wanted to get it off my chest. muslim led violence in france continues. 897 cars burned just Saturday morning over night, just in that one night. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051105/ap_on_re_eu/france_rioting . A nursery was torched, and at least four other french cities have been hit with torched cars, and buildings. And yet, I DO NOT CARE!!!

This is a problem of the french's own making. For years they thumbed their noses at us, bringing in immigrants by the thousands for labor, with their own population aging and decrepit, and NOT requiring the immigrants to merge into their society, so the mostly arab and black muslim influx built their own little sub-culture, matching identically to that which they came from, not integrating at all like french society, like America encourages our immigrants to do. Now the french are paying for their stupidity, just letting anyone come in that wants in. And now they're paying for that stupidity, so let the country burn.

The irony is, france went SO FAR out of their way to oppose us in the war, partially because they had their hand in the cookie jar with hussein, tied up with tens of billions of the oil for food scandal, and partially because the french are simply the most arrogant obnoxious unlikable europeans there are, and they still have delusions that they're a great world power, so they opposed us, siding with the muslim radicals in almost every instance. But the muslims in france don't seem to be giving them any points for that do they?

What's even more ridiculous is that this all stemmed from two teenage muslim boys being electrocuted because they were running from police, who weren't even chasing them. The police were chasing someone else. So I wonder, what would the muslims have done if the french police had actually been chasing those two muslim kids and killed them on purpose? Would there be dead french littering the streets, burning school busses, and would there be a mushroom cloud over the Eiffel tower? Because if this is what the unintegrated muslim populace does responding to an accidental death of just two, I'd hate to see what they'd do if it was an on purpose. Oh well.

Maybe the french will learn something from this. Hopefully they'll learn that when you side with the devil, you will still get burned, and it would be better to listen to us from now on. I doubt it though. france can burn to the ground and it's government collapse for all I care. They are no ally of ours and haven't been for a long time. If we ever send troops there it should be ONLY to protect the cemeteries of our fallen heros on Normandy and other places in france. I just knew a couple years ago when the french opposed us we should have retrieved all the bodies of the fallen WWI and WWII heros and brought them home. They wouldn't want to be buried in the trash heap of France anyway. As far as I'm concerned, the bodies of our fallen dead are the only thing of value in france anyway.

REALLY??? AWESOME!!! I had for years heard the number cited that there were 6 million or more muslims living in the U.S.. BOY I sure hope you're right on that. 6 million would be about 2% (5.90 million) of the U.S. population (295 million roughly) If it's only 1.2 million, that's Much preferable. 1.2 million is only about 0.4% of the population. I hope it goes down and not up. Everywhere muslims go, they have proven ALL through history that they only tolerate others so long as they're the minority. EVERY culture, past and present in ALL of history, whenever they become the majority, they brutally take over the country, and oppress the rest of the populatio, either killing or deporting those that aren't muslim, unless they become muslim themselves. So the fewer muslims in America the better. The fact that most muslim nations will throw you in jail for having a Bible or Torah, yet we let them come here and rearrange the work place or schools for muslims says it all. They don't bend for others, we should NOT bend for them. EVER!!! Screw muslims if they don't like it. They can feel free to go back to the other 55 muslim oppressed poor squaller nations. No one asked them to come here and tell us how we should do things in OUR country.

I think it would be quite unceremonious to remove them from where they've laid for 60 years, not to mention the cost.

Would you like to see islamofascist pi$$ing in their graves? Would that be better?

Oh good grief. I forgot to post the url for the article. Well, here it is. I put it in the post when I made the thread. I thought it would appear.

Here is the AP article I cited and the url:

By JOHN LEICESTER, Associated Press Writer 13 minutes ago

ACHERES, France - Youths armed with gasoline bombs fanned out from Paris' poor, troubled suburbs to shatter the tranquility of leafier towns, torching 900 vehicles, a nursery school and other targets, police said Saturday, in the worst wave of arson since the urban violence began more than a week ago.

Police were forced to adapt, deploying a helicopter and small teams of officers to chase down youths who sped from one attack to another in cars and on motorbikes. The new security tactics yielded more than 250 arrests during the ninth straight night of unrest.

The violence, which was originally concentrated in neighborhoods northeast of Paris with large immigrant populations, is forcing France to confront anger long-simmering in its suburbs, where many Africans and their French-born children live on society's margins, struggling with unemployment, poor housing, racial discrimination, crime and a lack of opportunities.

From an outburst of fury over the deaths of two teenagers, the unrest is taking on unprecedented scope and intensity. Far-flung corners of France were hit by violence Saturday, from Rouen in Normandy to Bordeaux in the southwest to Strasbourg near the German border, although the Paris region has borne the brunt.

In quiet Acheres, on the edge of the St. Germain forest west of the capital, arsonists torched a nursery school, where part of the roof caved in, and about a dozen cars in four attacks over an hour that the mayor said seemed "perfectly organized."

Children's photos clung to the blackened walls, and melted plastic toys littered the floor. Some residents, gathered at the school gate, demanded that the army be deployed, or suggested that citizens band together to protect their neighborhoods. Mayor Alain Outreman tried to cool tempers.

"We are not going to start militias," he said. "You would have to be everywhere."

In one particularly malevolent attack, youths in the eastern Paris suburb of Meaux prevented paramedics from evacuating a sick person from a housing project. They pelted rescuers with rocks, then torched the waiting ambulance, an Interior Ministry official said.

By daybreak Saturday, 897 vehicles were destroyed — a sharp rise from the 500 burned a night earlier, police said. It was the worst one-day toll since the unrest broke out Oct. 27 following the accidental electrocution of the two teenagers who hid in a power substation, apparently believing police were chasing them.

Anger has spread to the Internet, with blogs mourning the youths. Along with messages of condolence and appeals for calm are insults targeting police, threats of more violence and warnings that the unrest will feed support for France's anti-immigration extreme right.

Police detained 258 people overnight, almost all in the Paris region, and dozens of them will be prosecuted, Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy said after a government crisis meeting. He warned of possibly heavy sentences for torching cars.

Most rioting has been in towns with low-income housing projects where unemployment and distrust of police run high. But in a new development, arsonists were moving beyond their heavily policed neighborhoods to attack others with less security, national police spokesman Patrick Hamon said.

"They are very mobile, in cars or scooters... It is quite hard to combat," he said. "Most are young ... we have even seen young minors."

There appeared to be no coordination between separate groups in different areas, Hamon said. But within gangs, he added, youths are communicating by cell phones or e-mails.

A youth center and a police station were set ablaze in Torcy, close to Disneyland Paris.

On Saturday morning, more than 1,000 people took part in a silent march in one of the worst-hit suburbs, Aulnay-sous-Bois. Local officials wore sashes in the red-white-and-blue of the French flag as they filed past housing projects and the wrecks of burned cars. One white banner read "No to violence."

Anger was fanned days ago when a tear gas bomb exploded in a mosque in Clichy-sous-Bois, north of Paris — the same suburb where the youths were electrocuted. Officials have denied that police were to blame.

Sarkozy also has inflamed passions by referring to troublemakers as "scum."

Asked about Sarkozy's comments, the mosque's director Dalil Boubakeur said: "In such difficult circumstances, every word counts."

Your post couldn't be more accurate. The left are the enablers of the terrorists just like a spouse is an enabler for making excuses for their abusive partner who beats them and their kids.

The french are amazingly stupid when it comes to anything. Their either fanatical barbarians like under napolean, or they're cowards with no spin and no brain, like the past 100 years.

Ah but the difference is that the average frenchie french wuss is the majority of the french people. The rino wusses and liberals are the minority of the American people, and if push came to shove, there are MORE than enough people like us to very quick, very LOUD end to any kind of muslim riot like that in America. And the card carrying members of the ARA and all those who support them would be out in force to put that kind of crap to a speedy hault.

many arrests

Oh, great. Now the French get to have trials so the Muslims can riot every time they get a verdict they don't like.

Like Clinton the French confuse crime with terrorism.

This should be treated like civil war and the perps should be sent to military prisons for interrogation and imprisonment for the duration of the conflict.

PS No friggin' defense lawyers!

Yeah really. All the effort the french put to opposing us, it would be nice if they directed all that effort to opposing those who are actually wanting to burn their cities to the ground.
