Continuing his Maine Denial Tour, Al Franken has kicked the nerve factor up a notch with a shameless weekend speech to Bowdoin College Democrats.
While the young, eager Brunswick-based students soaked up rhetoric faster than SpongeBob SquarePants, Franken somehow still managed to disappoint them, by refusing to answer any questions.
Why? As Frank Chi, campus Democrats co-president, explains in the Times Record:

Hard to answer questions when you cannot think.
Franken is the typical leftie. Dishonest and elitist.
Frank Chi, co-president of the Bowdoin College Democrats, said, "While we would have loved to have Mr. Franken receive questions from the audience, there was a stipulation in his contract that did not allow for him to do so."
Hey, why address Franken's proven dishonesty regarding highly questionable "loan" transfers from an inner city community center to his corporate employer, if you don't have to? Is Franken afraid of being exposed as a raging hypocrite?
Good thing Franken thought in advance to protect himself, isn't it?
After all, there was plenty of time for attacks on others, according to the newspaper report:

Why didn't Franken face any questions?
If it was fear of facing certain issues, why didn't Franken just stage a photo op and plant questions? He could have called out the name of a reporters he's never seen before .... "Adrian! ... Adrian! ... Anybody seen an Adrian? ... I'm lookin' for an Adrian! ..."
