I hope this is appropriate. I have started a blog on Asian travel, primarily Thailand because it is fun and I have helped a couple of people with their plans to visit the area. Thus far I have covered transportation and Bangkok Hotels.

My appologies to those not interested.

I had a blog like that.  It covered uh, "entertainment" in Bangkok and Phnom Pen.  And over the counter remedies for exotic venereal diseases.  It seems like those two things aren't related, but in a way they are.  Anyhoo, the internet host took down my blog, said some of the photos weren't appropriate or some such nonsense.

Hope you have better luck than I did.

Your vacations are always such fun, like the porn shoot at Oktoberfest.

Tell me about it. I hadn't seen pics like that since an old roommate of mine was in Med school.

BTW, did you ever get that "positive DNA match" thing taken care of?

No problem - I have friends at the United Nations who can, um, breathe new life into your defunct blog.

They're not the "peace keepers" in The Congo, are they?  Man have I got a bone to pick with them!  I got killed on airfare, getting to Kisangani isn't exactly like catching a commuter flight from New York to D.C.  Priceline and Hotwire don't even list airports with unpaved runways, so I paid like, full price.

So I show up with a steamer trunk full of jars of jam and mayonayse and blank video tapes, only to discover it's totally a "locals only" scene!  I mean, these guys are from France, Russia, Belgium, whatever, but without that blue hat, you're just a piece of garbage.  Jerks.

The problem is not that they're favoring the guys in the Blue Helmets, it's the fact that since prostitutes started accepting jars of mayonnaise in payment for sex, over half a million people have died of salmonella in the Congo (but that's not scary enough for the MSM to report) because of little or no refrigeration facilities. That and the fact that the public is getting tired of plucking crusted jars of Hellmann's out of the river.

I'll let these guys know about your problems with Priceline. I know it may be a step down in quality, but I know for a fact that they can set you up with some very enthusiastic young Arab pilots training stateside who would give you a good rate on a charter to the sub-Sahara.

Good luck in the future!
