Two things:
1) Congratulations to the school for standing on solid, moral, principle.
2) A BS article in that the liberal writer doesn't understand that the child can not have two parents of the same sex. The writer must understand that the child would not have been born with "parents" such as this.
We must remember to lover the sinner (all of us) but not endorse and/or condone the sin...

Paul made it perfectly clear, (see my quote from Scripture above) that you, as a Christian are NOT to have fellowship (eating, etc) with unGodly people. Paul never met Jesus. I read and try to follow the words of Christ, not Paul.
You do realize that Paul wrote a majority of the New Testament? You do realize that the actual quoted words of Christ are a very small portion of the New Testament? You do realize that none of the New Testament was written by Jesus and in fact, no record exists of anything Jesus wrote? You do realize Paul is an honored saint of the Church? You do realize that Paul's writings, as part of the Canonical and inspired Scriptures are binding upon you as a Christian?

Didn't Jesus say "Judge not lest ye be judged"?
Are you a lib or something? You sure do break out their usual cliches about Christianity.
By your logic, no one can judge anything then, lest they be judged. Hence, anarchy and chaos will rule for eternity.

While Jesus was alive? Did he ever hear him preach? Dis he spend any time with him other than this minute long conversation in a 'vision'?
I love how you quickly dismiss a vision of God Himself to someone. Are you certain you're a Christian? If Jesus Himself could deign to appear to Paul in a vision and tell Him to carry His message to the world, I think you could show a modicum of respect to the man.

Sorry but to me that is false Christianity. I read Matthew Mark Luke and John. Thats it, no Paul.
So basically, you disregard all the books of the New Testament except the Four Gospels. So you *are* a heretic.

I have not been rude to anyone on this thread. No, you just call Christians who actually **believe** in their faith "mean spirited." You're right, that's not being rude. It's an outright attack. Not rude though...

Oh God, just when I thought we could breathe easier because God's best friend FReeper "Bob Celeste",another Scripture quoting homophobe, seemed to finally be gone from this forum, here comes YOU with your holier-than-thou righteous Islamic form of "Christianity", and you expect everyone to salute it. Take a hike.
Please stop saying moronic things. It's embarassing.

That's not in Mark 5, you may want to take another look, I think you mean Mark 10.
However, Jesus speaks in Matthew 5 on this subject:
Mt 5v32: "But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality ("fornication" in the KJV), makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery."
He also repeats this in Matthew 19v9
Nice strawman agrument, but it doesn't hold in the light of God's Word.

You're SO right---it IS embarrassing. I can see the blush of recognition on your face from here. Now can you and your elitist God-selected friends leave me alone, and let this ridiculous thread die a well-deserved death?????????

However, Jesus speaks in Matthew 5 on this subject... He also speaks in Mark, and in Mark there is not the qualification that is in Matthew. Jesus is quite clear on the subject, what God hath joined let no man break apart. Divorce nullifies God's work in bringing the man and woman together. So why does Matthew overturn Mark?
Nice strawman agrument, but it doesn't hold in the light of God's Word.
And when did Jesus speak on homosexuality?
To: pa mom
I would have to stay with a man who abuses me or risk damnation? No, you can leave him. But the damnation part comes if you divorce him and choose to live an adulterous lifestyle by marrying another. His words, not mine.

My opinion on one decision has nothing to do with Christians in general. You are looking for a fight. I'm not.

I support the school's right to expel anyone they choose. I also applaud the couple for not making this into a lawsuit or going to the press to complain.

I'm a Catholic, so I don't believe in predestination or elect or remnant classes. BTW, you are free to ignore people's posts if you don't want to read them.

Hurting a kid for the actions of their parents is wrong.
By doing this the school has taught this child that christians hurt people for the actions of others.
Note the above is the motto of socialist/liberals, or need I remind you of the movement for 'slave reperations'.
I would not be suprised it more than just a lawsuit is filed against the school.
To: Paul C. Jesup
Hurting a kid for the actions of their parents is wrong. That's just a silly statement based on emotion. And of course everyone agrees.
Here is a good one so I can feel good about myself too: Torturing children and stealing their milk money is WRONG! I feel bettr now.
Now, onto reality and back to this situation... The article was written to be vague to give the reader the impression that the ONLY reason the girl was not allowed to attend this private school (is she never allowed to attend ANY school now?) The article did mention that the girl was talking at an event. The article left out what it was about. Could it have been about how homosexual "couples" are just as good as heterosexual? We will not know. But at least the article had it's intended result of convincing many readers that the Christian school is bad. Non-critical thinkers are so easy to sway.

Um.... looking for a fight is calling actions "mean spirited" when you have no idea what the people were thinking, or what the REAL circumstances were, when they did it. Please stop the passive-aggressive stuff, picking fights.

And when did Jesus speak on homosexuality? A red hearing. Jesus did not speak on bestiality or child sacrifice either. Woo-hoo! Have at it! Jesus did not specifically speak against it so it's all good!

Okay, you are right. They were not mean spirited. I do not know what the full story is. That is true.
