The conspiracy kooks are coming out of the woodwork in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. According to information "obtained" by radio show host Hal Turner, divers have uncovered evidence that explosives were used to break the 17th Street Canal levee in New Orleans. Also, according to an article by kook extraordinaire Ernesto Cienfuegos, this was accomplished by federal agents or military personnel who ended up in a firefight with New Orleans police.

With the FEMA withdrawal, the cut in Army Corps of Engineers funding for the New Orleans district, and the use of HAARP to steer Katrina into the city, the destruction of New Orleans and its people was preplanned. The objective is to impose Martial Law on the region and then extend it to other areas. It is possible that some of the buses which were supposed to go to the Astrodome have ended up at the concentration camps which are in every state.Oh wait...that one left out Halliburton...It is likely that the snipers are not local citizens, but were dropped into the area to create disorder. It is likely that the levee was deliberately destroyed when Katrina did not do the job. It is likely that death squads are in the black neighbourhoods and people are fighting for their lives.
HAARP is short for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. Basically what they tell you on their site is that "HAARP is a scientific endeavor aimed at studying the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes."But it has been documented that HAARP sends billions of watts in the 2.8-8.2 MHz range into the ionosphere, which isn't healthy for the ionosphere and can create "holes" per say in the sky. It also creates artificial auroras, and has been rumoured to be able to control the weather.
So, why would the secret government do this? To reward the rich, of course! Bush has promised 10 billion dollars to rebuild and make New Orleans "even better than before." That means new resorts and casinos! And a new Superdome! All the corporate interests in that area were insured, while many residents were not. Now the corporations will get money to rebuild and the poor will be pushed out of the city.

I'm embarassed to say that I took Republic Broadcast Network seriously for a short while. I realize they are extreme something or other even if they get within a few miles of the truth.
The Bush Admin deliberately screwed up to have a test-run of the police state with Blackwater.
The wealthy blasted the levee to save their neighborhood (never mind that this wasn't a river levee).

you are right! I'll bet the theory will be that the conservatives "took out" the democratic voters and they'll have proof: the missing thousands of voters from the last election. /sarc.
