Fox is still far superior than the MSM. In spite of having Geraldo and Greta Van Der Sloot.

You're deadwrong.

Looks like Fox is still the top dog in cablenews. Here's a recent report from CNN Money. 2.9 million for Fox. 1.5 million for CNN. And 525K for msnbc.

UPDATE: Cable News Outlets See Ratings Spike On Katrina

September 1, 2005: 14:33 p.m. EST

SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones) -- Cable TV networks have seen a significant increase in ratings over the past week, as viewers tuned in to get the latest on the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Fox News Channel (NWS), which regularly tops the cable news ratings race, averaged 2.9 million viewers during prime time (8-11 p.m.) from Friday through Monday, up from 2.1 million a week earlier, according to data compiled by Nielsen Media Research.

Among the 18 to 49 year-old age group, viewership rose to an average of 805, 000 from 350,000 the previous week.

At CNN (TWX), total viewers in that three-day period averaged 1.51 million in prime time, compared to 661,000 in the previous week. And 18-49 year old viewers averaged 502,000, up from 147,000.

MSNBC's (GE) total viewers averaged 525,000 in prime time, up from 290,000, while 18-49 rose to 269,000 from 103,000.

Greta Van Der Sloot.

Oh, she remarried after her divorce from Peterson, and her second husband Jackson?

Remember that old CBS tagline, This is CBS?

Well, "This is MSM." - Look at it.

Smith got there cuz he's a preening Ass that lost control of his bladder at the sight of an actual dead body

So it was a natural for the libs to invite the weakest link of the Fox lineup.

Except on MSNBC, the anti-Bush bias is so palpable, the station reeks with it!

And, of course, CNN's blatantly liberal position is so well known there is nothing that could ever set that station right.

So, for this guy that leaves FOX. Even as strident as O'Reilly is, I just bleep him out. **S**

Happy week, all.
