I know you will enjoy this lefty professor's logic, and how he got it all wrong. He forgot the conclusion that God does exist.

This is an absurd rant by ranting radical. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson have said things they shouldn't have, but they never bombed airplanes, attacked office buildings, or murdered hostages.

He's worried about Bourbon Street?

This guy is teaching youngsters in college. I wonder what kind of political slant he's giving them. Did you check out his logic?

We just had a sermon this morning about these folks claiming God was punishing NO.

He likes the raunchy going-on on Bourbon street and sees them, I guess, as either proving God accepts them or that there is no God or some such nonsense. I guess he got out ahead of the damage curve on this one.

I think the prof had a different take. I'm glad I missed him when I was studying in college.

Matthew 5:45
... He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

I agree with the professor's possibility #2. God does not use natural disasters to punish sinners. And he is not vengeful; he sent Christ to give us grace.

That was the gist of our sermon this am.

I agree with that sermon. I disagree with the professor's twisted logic. Thanks.

Let's put it this way: If God wanted to judge New Orleans (or anywhere else), there wouldn't be ANYTHING left and there would be no doubt about it.

And that's the truth.

True enough. Did you read what the lefty prof was trying to pass off as logic? Of course his rant was just a chance to bash Christians.

That's why I hate it when Falwell and such make these off the wall comments. Many people are more than willing to portray them as wackos. Don't give them the ammo, Jerry!

Jerks like Juan Cole don't need a comment by Falwell to stir up their anti-Christian fervor. He and the left (exemplified by the ACLU) hate those who practice their religious beliefs.

What? Bourbon Street survived? Then we can still have a Mardi Gras Parade this year?

WHOOO HOOO... Get the mayor hot on the party planning, cause he's got nothing else to do now that the feds are doing his job for him.

I think it's safe to say Juan Cole got his information on Bourbon Street a bit wrong. If you didn't read his blog, it's worth the time...it's a hoot but shows you how sick the DUmmy left is today.

How do you know? God judges in all sorts of ways. You don't think He would leave some left to 1. Tell the story of survival & give Him praise 2. Have a chance to repent from evil?

You don't know how He judges. How could you know?
