Suppose she saw on the news later that the same woman was killed by some mass murder who stopped to 'help'.
She didn't need money, so you probably couldn't have helped any way.

Oh, please. No one who willingly, stridently champions the butchering of helpless babies (i.e., abortion) could possibly feel even a nano-second's worth of regret over refusing to help a child by the side of the road.
I heard a story once defining the difference between Republicans and Democrats. If your car broke down by the side of the road a Republican would drive right past you. A Democrat would pull over to help but, somehow, end up setting your car on fire.
I would have defiantely stopped no matter what. Actually I might even be MORE intersted to stop of I knew it was a koz kid or DUmmie... I LOVE 'debating' with some of the loonies.
I always get a huge laugh out of it, and its just SO EZ to play them like a fiddle and back them up into a corner using their own flawed logic.
Just look what Mr. Rove has done to them over and over and over again.
Anyway, a stupid sticker certainly wouldn't make a difference on weather I'd stop or not.

To think that this woman wouldn't help someone in need, simply because of their political persuasion is mind-boggling. The sheer hatred that drips from her as she honestly believes Bush is ruining this nation. I couldn't stand the Clinton regime when it was in power but if someone needed help and it was within my capacity to do so, they got it, regardless of their political leanings.
This woman is sick and anyone who would share her sentiments is a soulless ghoul!
I read quite a few of the DU responses, but didn't see anyone say that picking up the mother and child could have led to a "teaching moment" for the DU'er who could have been overwhelmingly kind to the stranded mother and child (offer to let the mother use her cell phone, ask her if she would like to stop to see if the baby needed changing, etc.) while driving her home, and then right after the woman was out the door, thanking the good samaritan, let the stranded woman know that she owed her rescue to a Bush hater who would never ignore a person in need despite political differences.
OK, admittedly late to comment, but I just got this link from another thread.
I won't dwell on the "conscious" vs. "conscience" clue this DUer gives readers as to the quality of her education. But I'm a little confused as to where the rest of the spew comes from. Where does she hear these "excuses" she quotes so diligently? I have never heard a conservative come up with these, even on the most heated discussions here.
Is she quoting the local Dim politicians? More projection on their part?
And, most important, does she finally feel like the total JACKASS she is now that even they can't ignore the truth?

I must admit when I see a Kerry sticker I have a tendency to whisper obscenities under my breath, but if some idiot with a Kerry sticker had a baby in their arms I'd try to help........not for them, but for the baby.
