Needless to say, this brings to mind
another Shep incident from about 3 years ago.
WARNING - OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE.

I say good. If I may get killed and the reporters want to talk to me for entertainment ratings, I sure as heck gosh darn ought to be able to swear my hat off!

When he asked one man what he was doing there at the hotel, the man responded, "None of your f---ing business." Smith, who anchors cable TV's top-rated evening newscast, noted that was a good answer, having been broadcast on international television, and then added, "It's none of my business, which it really isn't."
Isn't he committing a severe MSM sin, by admitting something actually might be none of the media's business?

I heard that and got a giggle out of it but I wonder if the guy who said it is so smug today.

I must have missed it that day. I wonder what went on in the studio after that little mistake.

Shep is one of the few media anchors who does not take himself or his position too seriously.

hehehe
I heard Glen Beck talking about this earlier.

Shep is sure making our ala-mater Marshall Academy look good! I had heard on Glenn Beck this was the guy from the Weather Channel and not Shep that got the "F" bomb.

Base bottom line. Shep asked a dumbarse why he was walking his dog in downtown New Orleans instead of high-tailing it out of town to escape Katrina. Like most people who don't have an answer for their own stupidity..."Mind your own effing business." That's what you say when you don't want to say, "Because I'm a dumbarse!"
I was listening to Fox News when this happened and that's my take.

I have to admit it, I'm an unabashed fan of Shep's, ever since he had a few moments to kill at the end of a segment and decided to recite Rutger Hauer's "Tannhauser gate" soliliquy from the film Blade Runner.
The guy's loopy, his politics are dubious and he ain't too bright, but he's damn easy on the eyes and makes for some fun TV watching.
