A STUPID NEWBIE QUESTION

I've been participating on FR in comments only a short while now but I learn (mostly) quickly (self promotion!).

My one delay on the FR Learning Curve is whattheheck does "bttt" mean?

I see it often on threads but I don't understand:

(1.) what the acronym (please tell me it's an acronym) means; and,

(2.) what purrpose it serves to type it.

So, oh wise learned Freepers, please explain. I thankyew.

Lucky Strikes Means Fine Tobacco. I really bought into that when I was a young smoker back in the 50's. We preferred Lucky Strikes because you could roll them up the sleeve of your T-Shirt. Also, it was the preferred brand of most veterans from WWII.

We, of course, weren't particular. We smoked Pall Malls, Camels, Old Golds and what ever we could steal from our parents and other trusting dupes who had cigarettes on hand. Sometimes we got our hands on Kents or English Ovals and really had a puffing orgy. We loved smoking cigarettes. We could buy them or get them with impunity, steal them if necessary, which we did, even though we were only 12 years old.

I don't smoke today. My brother-in law, at 72 years old,still smokes unfilterd Lucky Strikes.

I went with Viceroy in my smoking days which ended about 23 years ago - I think I just liked the name.
