I think August 6 is a day often bandied about for an alleged attack on America. It's the 60th anniversary of Hiroshima. However it's a Saturday so mass transit would not be a prime target.

I think most folks assume that the 'typical' types of attacks would take place on a weekday, when there is more activity and more people in the population centers.

However, with regard to a nuclear attack, I really don't think this would matter. It would be catastrophic no matter when it occurred.

That being said, I do think the recent talk of nuclear attack is BS.
