Thanks..But it's been almost 3 yrs(7/4/02) since it happened...I've learned to "live with it" I do use heat and booze...I don't have insurance...And I don't feel I'm bad enough off to try to live off the govmt..But I will use student loans(which I WILL pay back)
Hopefully I can wish you a Happy Birthday sometime in the coming year. Congratulations on kicking your habit.
If they're so happy, why are most of them on anti-depressants? If you read a few DUmpster threads you get the impression that all of them are either seriously depressed or perpetually angry at the world. Or both.
Since we are on the subject of meds, has anyone tried Scar Zone (silicone as active ingredient)? It is supposed to fade away scars. I just bought some and I am hoping it works. I have 10 scars on my left forearm (only 5 are fresh) and I am really tired of people asking me if I was mauled by a dog. Anybody have any experience with any of these creams for scarring?
Any of the "scar removers" only work 15-20% of the time in adults, results are better with children..
This according to JAMA- The journal of the american medical association
"Any of the "scar removers" only work 15-20% of the time in adults"
Thanks! Well, I guess some chance is better than no chance.
The bottle itself is small, like about 1/2 a fifth (I'm not home to look at it, so this is a guess), but about 20% has evaporated from the sealed bottle.
Probably not any good anymore, but a curiousity at the least.
Thats a curious item. I'd bet the alcohol content is probably pretty low now. Sounds like the seal has allowed evaporation of the alcohol. I'd be curious about the origins. You might look at some of the aution sites and get an idea of it's worth.

Ooooh... I've seen those!
They're the pretty purple ones, aren't they... ;-)
bookmark... good night all
With all the other dope they take, they could care less about cholesterol.... ;-)
Why are you making of fun of people because they are mentally ill enough to require medication? I think people being mentally ill is more sad than anything else.
I've had it stored away for a couple of years now, so my memory of the distiller etc. is vague, but I do remember my father telling me about the sailing ship story when we took it out of my Uncle's house around 20 years ago. If the tale is true, it's something that'll never be made again.
Most assuredly. Now, I wonder how many of them live in Florida...
Oh, never mind. None of them is a conservative talk show host, so they are "innocent"...
And guess what she's talking about. . . . Some guy . . . uh . . . er . . . staring at her . . . well, top half. So to speak.
A question for men (or women of course)
Speed, don't you dare.
You have missed the entire point of this thread. These people are trying to outdo each other in naming all the meds they take. It it a badge of honor to them. No one here is making fun of ill people. We are making fun of people that post long lists of their medications on the World Wide Web!!
He's not making fun of the fact that the DUmmies are depressed, he's making fun of the fact that they're depressed on account of Kerry's failure to materialize on January 20th to make his inaugural speech, among other things.
Hell, if I were forced to spend time with this DUmmie all I'd be doing is staring at her chest, too. Not because I'm usually that captivated by the female anatomy: there's just not much else to do when trying to converse with a girl who's dumber than a sack of rocks.
