He's walking a thin line for a newbie. Not sure yet, but still suspicious.
That is a rather broad brush you have there. In fact increasingly Republicans are becoming far more conservative. The complaints should be focused on those Republican Senators who made this power move because they do understand that and see themselves becoming increasingly on the fringes of the party. This was, if you will, their last gasp. Make a example of one or two and the rest will fall in line.
The Republicans in the House act like they actually are the majority because they are used to the idea. So far a few Republicans in the Senate, (13% if you want to be exact) do not grasp this concept.
However to flail around yelling about Republicans in general rather then concentrating on those who have trespassed seems to me to be a invitation to defeat.
Do what you like but that is just my $0.02
Democrats of old do not equate to the Democrats of today. It is really a Socialist party today and they clearly put party before nation when they cheer on the "insurgents" who storm Iraq from other nations.
As much as we need to beef up our border security, Iraq needs even better border security. Although I can here some saying "Those Syrians are coming to Iraq to do the bombings that Iraqis won't do."
Lady Jag, that is one cool pic.
THAT is seriously disturbing.
How was the salmon?
Lady Jag always finds the good pics..../envy off
That is one tasty lookin' deer!
Here in Texas, "Republicans" are fighting against conservative led efforts to cap property tax hikes (which are being raised to the max level far too often). This goes all the way up to the governor's office.
They forget who put them in office and what policies are spelled out clearly in the party platform.
There are RINOs in the party. This is not news. The majority party gets to control things (regardless of how many members are in Name Only). When those RINOs and CINOs start mucking around with policy, it leaves the questions, "Well, just what power does the majority party have?" and "If you don't like being a Republican, why do you run under this party name?"
Alfred Hitchcock used a lot of artists for his movies and for Spellbound, he and Salvadore Dali worked together on many of the sets, making Spellbound live up to its name. You should see it.
Thank you - see post #30 for neat info.
Very, very, cool!
Another one for the Netflix list
More tagline material.
Stop tempting me; I'm warning you. I'm holding out with the general principle of only using original taglines, but you people don't make it easy!
It means being constantly disappointed.
But you have no place to go. You won't vote third party, so what are you going to do: Vote in fascist democrats??? I held my nose and voted for Bush. For that I got prescription drugs and more socialistic centralized education policies. Never again.
wow...I didn't realize that...cool. I like Dali's work...
Off topic (although might as well go off topic if this is going to be a newbie post and run thread)...
Those curtains with the eyes sold for something like $10,000 in the early 1990s. Had to be some kind of bargain for a "Dali painting" considering the size. Even if he didn't paint it himself, the same has been alleged about some of his later paintings.
sometimes, you have to pick the lesser of two evils.
Or is that the lesser of to weevils?
Hmmm.....
