Here in Texas, "Republicans" are fighting against conservative led efforts to cap property tax hikes (which are being raised to the max level far too often). This goes all the way up to the governor's office.
They forget who put them in office and what policies are spelled out clearly in the party platform.
There are RINOs in the party. This is not news. The majority party gets to control things (regardless of how many members are in Name Only). When those RINOs and CINOs start mucking around with policy, it leaves the questions, "Well, just what power does the majority party have?" and "If you don't like being a Republican, why do you run under this party name?"
None if the voters do not enforce their will. I firmly believe that if you target a few of those who are out of line and carry through that the rest will either get out or fall in line.
Part of the big problem in the Senate is McCain. He should have been made an example of years ago. Take him out and maybe one more and the rest will fall in line.
But you also have to reward good behavor as well. Group punishments do not work very well.
