Oh wow, they've got a lot of charm those two. Thanks for posting this. The video played perfectly, btw.

Wasn't she great!
What a neat thing "W" did - He loves to share -
pretty good for a lady that once told him he could run for office as long as she'd never have to make speeches.
Do I hear a lot of teeth grinding tonight? Must be the libs - can you picture either Tipper or Teresa making such a delightful speech - (sorry, just turned my own stomach)

Poor "Cedric" the entertainer, who does comedy for a living, had to follow Laura and she totally upstaged the rest of the presenters. She could take that act on the road. Outstanding.

No problem. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did. Laura is awesome! I don't think Cedric was prepared to follow her.
btw: I have it posted in .wmv and .mpg so everyone should be able to watch.

Poor "Cedric" the entertainer, who does comedy for a living, had to follow Laura LOL - I was thinking the same thing!
She was definitely the star of the evening!
I had to switch to MSNBC as that mustachioed vain Heraldo Rivera on FOX kept hogging the screen! I cannot stand him...

Wow! Laura was kind of racy and totally hilarious. She has really blossomed and come into her own as a public speaker. That is wonderful.
I love the Bushes. :)

Well done, Laura!
Really liked the joke about George's fondness for chainsaws and getting along so well with Cheny and Rumsfeld!
Good post, TJackson.
Jack.

"One night after George went to bed, Lynne Cheney, Condi Rice, Karen Hughes and I went to Chippendales. I wouldn't even mentioned it, except that Ruth Ginzberg and Sandra Day O'Connor saw us there. ------ "I won't tell you what happened," she insisted. "But Lynne's Secret Service code name is now 'Dollar Bill.'Why can't I get that picture of Nancy 'Karla Marx' Pelosi, Hillary Rotten, and Janet 'The Flame' Reno peering up at the leggy woman on their table out of my mind?

Real shot in the arm! Kudos to Georgie and Laura, having to get all diggy-do-upped and lifting the country's spirits, what with the war an' all.
To: TJackson
I got through to the 'dollar bill' line and I shut if off. Too depressing. I have a sense of humor, too, you low lifes; it's just depressing to see the first "lady" of the United States play wannabe Hollywood trash. It's the same feeling I had when Betty Ford told sixty minutes she thought her daughter should live with her boyfriend prior to marriage.

I've read back through your posts today and I was intrigued by the fact that it was only threads about this event that you posted on today.
What did you do, run around FR like some uptight old lady looking for these threads, just to bash the First Lady?
