This is something I figured many of you would get a kick out of. :) Donald Trump does a daily broadcast bit for some radio stations where he talks about all kinds of things. Yesterday, his topic was the upcoming retirement of Dan Blather. Here's what he said:
"On Wednesday, March 9, Dan Rather leaves his long-time post in the anchor chair at CBS News. A few people may not love the idea that Dan’s leaving. I say good riddance.
Somehow Dan has managed to survive even though he’s been in last place in the evening news ratings for years. Quite some time ago, Dan Rather did a piece on me for “60 Minutes” which I didn’t like at all. In my opinion it has the same kind of integrity that the piece on George Bush had and that was none.
So I just question, how has this guy remained on the air all these years? I don’t watch Dan because frankly he makes me uncomfortable. I don’t feel confident in what he’s saying. And you know what? That’s not Walter Cronkite. That’s not Edward R. Murrow, the great legacy that CBS News had and quite possibly will have again.
Les Moonves is a tremendous leader. I’m sure he’ll make the right choice. But as far as Dan Rather, he can’t get out fast enough."
Is that too funny or what? Hey Dan, "You're fired!" ;)
I bet people who invested in the Don's NJ casinos could say to him "YOU'RE FIRED"!~}

Better late than never -- Guess they jumped on the "No Pundits Left Behind" bandwagon!
I despise Rather as much as anybody, but taking anything Trump says seriously is beyond silly. He's a bankrupt fraud who has sold some snake oil idea that his financial advice should be valued. He's what? $6 billion in the hole?
"Hey Dan, you're Biased!"
Well .. I didn't like Trump's smarmy statements about Bush - so I just don't watch his stuff. Frankly I don't care what he thinks.
And .. for him to espouse Cronkite is just disgusting - it was because of Cronkite's statements about the TET offensive that helped the North Vietnamese regroup and KILL 48,000 MORE OF OUR TROOPS - after we had WON THE TET OFFENSIVE. The ROT of CBS began then - and Rather is just the culmination of the coninuted ROT in this network.
CBS is owned by Viacom - and Viacom supports Hillary - which should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know.
Not to mention that he's got a less-than-feminine looking daughter...
I don't know, I have fun watching Trump and if he's bashing Dan, all the better!

LOL. I'd love to see Dan on the Apprentice. He'd probably whine and blame everyone thru every task. Not to mention lying about the others to win. Yuck yuck.
Well, I have fun watching the Three Stooges, but I wouldn't let them balance my checkbook.

I dislike Dan as much as anyone does, but let's not be criticizing people's children for their appearance, sexual orientations, or whatever.
I detest the Clinton parents, but I think Chelsea should have been left out of the discussion.
I'm sure he does. What's amazing is that anyone listens.
