What is Bush doing in Brussels? Does he really want to win the Euros round? Does he need their help? Or is it all just window-dressing? His speech today went down well. The question is - is he going to get anything worthwhile out of of making this effort?

I am on a different timezone.
I think Bush made a good speech, it went down well for the most part, but I am just wondering quite genuinely what folks thought he might want to do in Brussels, given the general uselessness of European politicians.
The EU is undermining NATO and arming Iran and China right now so I was looking forward to seeing how Bush would talk about EU ambitions.
However I am new here, clearly this is the wrong forum for that kind of discussion..
