Someone PLEASE check out possible Gannon/"Buckhead" connection
I don't have the capability of doing this, but some of you sneaky bastards do.
If Gannon is the source of the TANG documents, which were an obvious White House plant, then there MUST be some connection between Gannon and "Buckhead" the Freeper blogger who raised questions about the typefont used in the documents.
Remember, "Buckhead" has been identified as Harry MacDougald, an Atlanta attorney (Buckhead is a suburb of Atlanta). He is a member of the Federalist Society and is on the Legal Advisory Board of the Southeastern Legal Foundation, which advocates "limited government, individual economic freedom, and the free enterprise system."
It should be noted here that the former CEO of the Southeastern Legal Foundation was charged with public indency after fondling himself and a (MALE) police officer in the Chattahoochie National River Park, just east of Atlanta.
There are many other facts here. Come on, folks, let's connect the dots!!

It now appears that Jeff Gannon could be the thread that unravels the real story behind the TANG/CBS forgeries. I have put together a case here that if looked at carefully by the blogosphere would show that the TANG forgeries were made by the White House, probably Dan Bartlett, and then given to Bill Burkett by a former associate of Karl Rove, Roger Stone. Stone's wife, Nydia, who is Cuban, was most likely the Hispanic lady on the phone who convinced Burkett the documents were real and that he should burn them after copying them to protect her honor.
The hot rumor in New York political circles has Roger Stone, the longtime GOP activist, as the source for Dan Rather's dubious Texas Air National Guard "memos." ...
Reached at his Florida home, Stone had no comment. (NY Post)
Gannon was apparently used by the White House to ID Mapes as the CBS producer and to try and conflate the Abu Ghraib photos she revealed as sourceless as the TANG docs.

"Gannon was apparently used by the White House to ID Mapes as the CBS producer"
NEWSFLASH FOR THE LIBERAL LOONS- Mapes had been working on that story since the 2000 elections.
She had been a producer for RATher for several years.
Mapes being the producer was common knowledge. Especially to the freaks inside the beltway.
Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Collect ...well...for libs I guess its welfare.
LMAO!!!!
thanks for the ping. I have not laughed this hard in a good long while.
Gotta tell ya. I am a little frustrated. Not once have they tried to make me out to be somebody famous.
I mean..come on...can't I be Rummy? I insult liberal media gimps all the time.
Or how about Cheney? I once told a guy to ......well....we better leave it at that....
Well, at least they seem to have admitted the TANG docs are fake. That's a small step for a man but a great leap for Ratkind.

Martha Mitchell recalled in 'Dirty Tricks'
New York, NY, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Martha Mitchell, a thorn in the side of the Nixon administration and a footnote to history, is remembered with relish in a new one-woman play, "Dirty Tricks," starring veteran actress Judith Ivey at the Off-Broadway Public Theater.
Ivey is giving one of the great performances of her 30-year, two-Tony Award career in the role of Mitchell, the smart but ditsy -- and sometimes drunk -- estranged wife of President Richard M. Nixon's attorney general, John Mitchell. Acting on her own, Martha Mitchell took on Nixon, helped bring down the administration that tried to silence her, and became notorious in the process.
"If it hadn't been for Martha there'd have been no Watergate," Nixon said in an interview with David Frost in 1977.

Free Martha
Wow, that's pertinent to the article. (sarcasm off)
That would have been very stupid of the DNC and the Kerry Campaign (to say they had the documents), wouldn't it have been. And, how did Karl Rove happen to get the fake documents to the DNC and the Kerry Campaign? --- oh yeh, secret agent man, Buckhead. ;-)
LOL. Hold the frustration.
I was reading somewhere that you, 'ArmyBratProud' was/is the agent who removed the infamous piece of black tape on the door jam of the Watergate Hotel which alerted a security guard to the break-in back on that infamous, intriguing night in '72.
James McCord (double agent?) unfortunately put the tape back on the jam. You go back a long way, it is said.
:-)
I have the proof! Through geometric logic I discovered the duplicate wardroom key and found both the missing strawberries and the document proving everything (hint: Jeff Gannon and Karl Rove are THE SAME PERSON, Bush is a Mandroid created by Wayne LaPierre to serve the NRA, and Free Republic has been secretly building a Secret Army of Robot Zombies (TM) in a base beneath Lake Mead (Area 51 is all a diversion) to take over the world and make it safe for our Evil War Monkey Chief).
WHERE DOES THAT FIT DAN RATHER INTO THIS STORY? ALL RATHER HAD TO SAY WAS, HEY, THESE ARE FAKE, I'M GONNA NAIL WHOEVER FAKED THESE AND PASSED THEM AROUND, THEN GO AFTER ROVE, GANNON AND BUCKHEAD.
I've decided to quit writing customized responses to these stories, and instead have developed a form letter response, since they ALL are starting to sound and act the same way:
They are nuts. Friggin' nuts. Nuttier than squirrel poop. They are crazed. Out of their minds. Rabid. Smokin' some really good stuff. Drinking hi-grade Kool-Aide. Puttin' the wrong mushrooms into the stir-fry. Jumping the shark and counting coup on it. Poppin' Zoloft like Tic-Tacs. Using snow shovels for coke spoons. Getting fitted for shirts with extra-long sleeves. Booking seats on the white van. Squirting glue up their noses. And still coming back for more...
They keep looking for a grand Rovian conspiracy to reveal that Buckhead was tipped off about the memos. It just doesn't occur to them, or they just won't allow the notion to enter their heads, that the forgeries were so stinkin' obvious that sooner or later someone was going to notice, no tipoff needed.
For all the annoyance factor of this nonsense, it actually is a fabulous indicator for 2006 and 2008. The libs are consumed with the internet as an attack medium - but that fails unless you have your facts straight. And they are convinced that Rove and Bush won in 2004 through dirty tricks - and are busy trying to uncover those dirty tricks instead of soberly looking at what the actually GOP did leading up to 2004 that helped them win the election. They are wasting time - and in the current election cycle, you can't do that and expect to win.
I was wondering when they would get around to trying to connect Buckhead and Gannon. I saw a remark on the Daily KOS, saying that he had read on DU that Gannon had been receiving death threats and the guy thought it was funny. Then I remembered reading on DU about how they were desperately trying to find out personal information on the identity of Buckhead, but they had the wrong guy.
Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, once remarked that no matter how absurd he made the corporate world look in Dilbert, a company would turn around and basically do what he just lampooned. The libs are entering their own absurd Dilbert zone now, where no matter how insane and far-fetched the jokes we lob at them, they will run under the jokes and do just that.
Well, I posted my comment at 8:54 PM EST, and RegenerationMan posted his stuff at 9:20 PST on the Daily Kos. A delay of 3:26. Hmmmm.
How do they know that I am not actually RegenerationMan and that I posted over there to sucker them into an involuntary psychiatric commitment?
How do they know RegenerationMan is not actually Karl Rove himself, outwitting them yet again?
Gannongate threatens to expose a huge GOP pedophile and male prostitution ring
Of course, they don't provide a scintilla of evidence.
This could get fun. This could be like knowing that someone has tapped your phone, but they don't realize that you realize.
I hear you. Now, I'm feeling left out. I want to be somebody.
I guess I must fess up then: One of my great, great, great, greater grandfathers was a Whig who was up to no good.
Back in the early to mid 1800's the Whigs and old Grandpop, to demoralize leading Democrats, to persuade the Democrats that the campaign was going badly, sent out a letter to that effect supposedly written by some high party muckety-muck. Another of his tricks involved the printing up of phony ballots; the ballots mixed up the names of Democratic and Whig electors, which was intended to confuse voters. Cool, eh.
It's in the blood, I tell you.
;-)
Oooops. You just spilled the beans! ;-)
