I graduated from U.H. at Manoa in 1995 after 5.5 years of drunken revelry and sporadic cramming... Nevertheless I am proud to be a Warrior and was disappointed to learn, via LGF, that Ward Churchill is scheduled to lecture there. Click here for the link.
I sent the following email to Robert Perkinson, a professor of American Studies, one of the sponsoring groups of the lecture:
Dear Professor; I was impressed and want to thank you for the following: “We figured we better at least signal that, here in Hawai’i, which is a little more open-minded state than some others, we wanted to signal that we really believe in free expression not just for non-controversial ideas, but for controversial ideas, because that’s what free expression is for." The links below provide compelling evidence that Ward Churchill has fraudulently claimed Native American ancestry for years.

Michael Moore, another virulent America hater, spoke at my school in October. The students spent the entire budget for the year for speakers on him. All he did was trash Bush and make claims of collusion with the Saudis over 9-11. And got paid 50,000...

My husband is on the mainland till Wednesday, but he wishes he were here so he could go protest the guy.
I think he has the right to speak here as long as the taxpayer isn't footing the bill, and in a way it's a good thing - it demonstrates how far loopy the left has become. I'd rather him come than that preacher from Kansas who trampled the Hawaii flag saying we deserved 1941 and 9/11 because Hawaii supports gays.
I do hope a good protest group shows up and stays well behaved.
Loved your letter - I'm not sure the Trask sisters would shoot some haole claiming to be Hawaiian, but you can sure bet they'd call down the curses from their "gods" (as they did on the builders of the H3).
OTOH, I'm sure glad my daughter chose Cal Poly San Luis Obispo - it's about the only coastal California county that went Bush last year. It's amazing how conservative it is for a CA state school.
Ward Churchill is on tour looking for a place to land. He sees the writing on the wall at CU and knows his time there may soon come to an end.
I cannot believe this foul puke has washed up on our fair shores.....and that idiots like Haunani Trask celebrate him.
May he crawl back under his Mainland rock ASAP

I too graduated from UH in 1995. Is there any petition that we can send to the UH president or is there any forum where alumni can express their disgust toward their alma mater ? They can kiss my alumni donation goodbye.
