I was surprised last year when several Christians mentioned to me a secret conspiracy to control the world. They relayed to me that the leaders of this coup called themselves Illuminati, a powerful group of wealthy and corrupt Jewish leaders. I was astonished as they described the control these Jewish leaders supposedly exerted on worldwide markets, banks, and governments. These Christians pointed out to me certain emblems on currency, the wealth of some members of the Jewish community, and the powerful influence Jewish people have on politicians and the media. My face blushed red with frustration as they talked so matter-of-factly about this conspiracy theory. I remained reserved. They did not know the history and damage of this conspiracy theory; nor, how this conspiracy theory has plagued the Jewish people around the world.
I doubt many Christians have read or heard of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. Nor, do most Christians know that this one document has been the source of conspiracy theories for a hundred years. The Protocols first became public in the early 1900s. A Russian Orthodox clergyman allegedly received these secret documents from Paris.

This is also a very serious duplicate. And it is posted under the same title. Is your search broken?
No. I was advised by moderators to post American Thinker articles only on 'blogs and personal,' so that was the only area I searched. The other post is under 'news.'
Interesting article.
I read "Fourth Reich of the Rich" by Des Griffin many years ago. Seems like some of his documentation on the Illuminati goes back several centuries. You might be interested in his research.
I've never held anything against Jewish people, even after reading the book. Just wish they would accept Jesus as the Messiah!
But I have felt that there was a "behind the scenes" group (not necessarily Jewish) who do yield a certain amount of control in world affairs. My mother always mentioned a book by Taylor Caldwell called "Captains and the Kings" which presented this idea, though in fiction form. I've not yet read Caldwell's book, but the reviews of it sound like it would be an interesting read if even just for the exploration of this idea of control.
In my earlier years--before the Lord rescued me--I studied some occult teachings. "Kabala" in particular does seem to teach a very ancient initiation into hidden mysteries, by which those who possess this knowledge are able to "control" world affairs. (It is a form of witchcraft, and I urge everyone to stay far away from it--it's a dangerous teaching.)
The writer of the article you posted mentioned about symbolism on currency, etc. Actually, anyone who has been involved in the occult can clearly tell you that these symbols ARE there intentionally and DO have occultic meanings. You would be surprised how many of these symbols are part of the culture-- and even in the marketing of large corporations...like the triangle (occult energy).
A person who has studied some of the occult teachings can spot these symbols easily. Also, they are used as a form of "identification" -- if you want to see if someone is "in" you just discreetly draw one of the symbols or speak a certain "word." If the person is "in" they will recognize it and respond in a way to let you know that they "know."
I believe the Bible is the Word of God, and so whatever events take place or who controls what, the Scriptures will be fulfilled. God is in absolute control, but He has allowed the "god of this world" to have a certain space of time. If you really study end time scriptures, it seems more that instead of one person being the anti-christ, it will be a group (many-headed beast).
But I've never felt that it would have to be Jewish people who made up that group (or leaders). I think the more important understanding of that scripture is that these "heads" are joined in the same mind and power, and they use that power to deceive the nations. They also use that power to deny and blaspheme Jesus Christ and to "make war" against God's people.
I do agree with the author of your article that the Bible does teach us to love our neighbor; and that we should search our hearts (or ask God to search our hearts) to see if we have any hatred or ill will towards anyone (not just Jewish people, but all people).
But the author's claim that the Illuminati "rumors" got started in the early 1900's would be interesting to research. Like I said, Des Griffin's book seems to trace the Illuminati back earlier than that, and he uses documents and pictures of documents. It's been a long time since I read his book, so I need to get refreshed on the details. But your posted article now has me interested to find out if, at least as far as the Illuminati group is concerned, those theories may have been false.
