I cannot see it being anyone but Bush. No other person has dominated the news more than President Bush. But, knowing Time, Michael Moore or Hillary will be the Person of the Year.

Let's see...

Bush is out. (He's a Republican)
The Swifties are out. (Good Lord, they helped defeat Kerry)
Bloggers are out. (See above)

I see only one option. Howard Dean. Yeeeaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!

Karl Rove, the behind the scenes man with the plan. Time will probably go with Assar though, in recognition of all his peaceful efforts thtoughout his life.

I don't see why Ronald Wilson Reagan isn't on the top of the list.

Yah, it probably should be, then again, it's arguable he should have been 'man of the year' EVERY year since 2000. 2001 has obvious reasons as to why he should be man of the year, (although Rudy was a good choice) 2002 is very arguable because of his historic mid-term coattails, 2003 is arguable because of the Iraq war, and well, 2004, does it get any more obvious then 2004? Wins re-election while gaining House and Senate seats when the dems basically went 'all-in'(Poker term) against him?

Well, as much as I love Reagan, he's been Man of the Year before (twice I think), and all he really did this year was die...I don't see how dying qualifies him as being man of the year.

Well, obviously Karl Rove or Dick Cheney as they are the real presidents{sarcasm/off)

I'd like to see it be Pres.Bush or someone from our great military. How about Donald Rumsfeld?! :-)

A tie between George W Bush and the United States Armed Forces - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

I nominate the Marine who shot dead the jihadi on camera that all the left-wingers are up in arms about.
