Though snubbed for a Golden Globe, Mental Moore is lobbying members of the Academy on behalf of his Kerry campain/Internationalist, socialist propaganda flickum opus, "Fahrenheit 9/11."
We all know that many Hollywood careers might have been irrevocably FUBARed on November 3, 2004, but it wasn't their support for Kerry that did it. It was their vitriolic bomb tossing and distrain for 51% of their possible future audience that will come back to bite them in their ends. Those ends being their box office pull. I wonder if they, at this time, have the balls to garner a permeant boycott by even nominating this virus masquerading as a documentary.
It would do for these people to put this election behind them fast. To drop the venomous nonsense that is alienating them from the majority of Americans that believe that they had every right to vote the way their values told them to vote and not how the Celebrities wanted them to.
Unfortunately Moore is fully committed at this point and there might just be enough extra chromosomes in the Academy gene pool to get him that nomination. He certainly is shmoozing for it. At the premiere of "Hotel Rwanda" by Terry George's, which Moore actually combed his hair and put on his other shirt for, he said, "The screeners go out this week and we have a great idea for an Oscar campaign, Now you can make your vote really count."
The problem is, there wasn't a lot of really good films this year. Mel Gibson's snuf flick "The Passion" might get a nod but I can't think of another single movie.
At this point it seems all to possible that Moore might be a contender for Best Picture.
Nothing has make me sadder than seeing how Hollywood has degenerated from Hedy Lamar to Cameron "A vote for Bush is a vote for rape." Diaz.
From Gary Cooper to Alic "I'll raise as much money as I can to make sure that this Bush winds up like the last Bush, a one-term President." Baldwin.
From Carry Grant to Woody "This is a racist and imperialist war. The warmongers who stole the White House have hijacked a nation's grief and turned it into a perpetual war on any non-white country they choose to describe as terrorist." Harrelson.
On and on it goes.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has over 6,000 people in it. Lets hope there's enough sane people in it to send Moore packing.
As for me, if they so much as nominate him Ill puke. If he gets an Oscar I'll never pay attention to that Award ever again. If Moore gets it the Oscar will become a meaningless blue ribbon on the vest of self deluded, liberal Babbittry.
YES, give him one of those silly statues and expose the Academy for the Leftwing cesspool it has become.
Before anyone yells at me for calling Mel Gibson's"The Passion" a snuf flick I want to ask you all to know I am a student of Objectivism and an atheist. The "snuf flick" remark is an honest opinion and not an attempt to alienate anyone.

Yes...please do GIVE Moore what he so desperately seeks. F911 is as much a fraud as that Sewer Pipe called Hollywood.
