When I spoke with Jeff Fisher this morning (Saturday, November 06, 2004), the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida's 16th District said he was waiting for the FBI to show up. Fisher has evidence, he says, not only that the Florida election was hacked, but of who hacked it and how. And not just this year, he said, but that these same people had previously hacked the Democratic primary race in 2002 so that Jeb Bush would not have to run against Janet Reno, who presented a real threat to Jeb, but instead against Bill McBride, who Jeb beat.
"It was practice for a national effort," Fisher told me.
And some believe evidence is accumulating that the national effort happened on November 2, 2004.
The State of Florida, for example, publishes a county-by-county record of votes cast and people registered to vote by party affiliation. Net denizen Kathy Dopp compiled the official state information into a table, available at http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htm, and noticed something startling. [...]
Even if they are networked, they're more than likely connected to a virtual private network, and communications aren't two way, in short they are all separate from the Wild World Web/Internet that we all are accustomed to using everyday.
BULL, It was the Left that killed Reno in the primary.
The Rat machine felt like Waco and Elian, a dozen other scandals, her tremors, and her overall alienating appearance made her a sure loser. They decided a folksy Vietnam Vet from central Fla could appeal to voters outside of South Florida.
It was the same thinking that led to Bill Nelson getting the nod for the Senate in 2000. Nelson won. unfortunately for the Rats, Mcbride couldn't pull a Nelson.
The Rats played dirty tricks to make Reno lose the primary. This new pathetic Rat disinformation campaign is total bunk. These lying Rats seem committed to turning this Country into a Third World Craphole or making it appear that way.
Exactly.
They claim Republicans did it, but they have no proof beyond wild guesses and mere speculation. It's typical of every argument and conspiracy theory hatched on the left.
They are just angry that even with all the cheating they did or attempted to do they still lost......big time.
Reno blacking out and falling off the stage didn't help her campaign, either.
Well, it's good to know that they're not "duanted", whatever the hell that means...
This article is not talking about the touch screen machines. But the Tabulator machines that are basically software on a crappy Windoze PC that is easily cracked. Go read the entire article: here
The interesting thing is this. In the fallout of the Florida 2000 mess, the Democrats lobbied hard for these machines, and they got them. I'm thinking the Democrats can't find any way to crack into the machines remotely, so they're hatching a bunch of myths, lies, and kook conspiracy theories and blaming Republicans.
My theory is Karl Rove is contolling us via X-Rays to our teeth fillings. I swear I felt a tingling sensation Tuesday morning when I went into a hypnotic trance on the way to the voting booth.
Hello. Welcome Brother.
Have a cup of Kool-Aid. The comet will be here shortly.
Top or bottom bunk?
Florida Ping!
We stole the one in 2000, we stole the last one, and we'll steal the next one!
I don't know what ZOTted means (I'm still green here) but it sounds bad. Is that a way of saying censored? As a greenhorn on FR how do I know what is censored here? Is there a guideline page that details what will be censored that I can refer to before I post?
Therein lies the problem. That may not be the central problem, but still, knowing how full of holes Windows is, it wouldn't surprise me it would be the central issue of the whole problem.
They are engaging in loser speak. This claim is pathetic. Treat it for what it is - a sad attempt to discredit President Bush's victory.
I know what he's saying, but I'm just sarcastically pointing out that what actually happened is different. Democrats kept Reno from getting the nomination, not Bush.
This is old DU rubbish that they have even given up on. They are quite demoralized over there right now. :-)
