Good grief. Anyone else seeing crap like this? Other threads I have missed? FWIW, I got this entire article on the Bugtraq Securityfocus mailing list which is dedicated to bug and security reporting for computer software. This same list has had whiners about the Diebold touch screen voting machines for months. Luckily those threads died out ... now this. :-/
I went and looked at this Thom Hartman's web site ... I don't recommend going there unless you keep a barf bucket by your PC.

Hey, we should help them find fraud.
It can only make Democrats look worse.
Start in Philadelphia.

"And not just this year, he said, but that these same people had previously hacked the Democratic primary race in 2002 so that Jeb Bush would not have to run against Janet Reno, who presented a real threat to Jeb, but instead against Bill McBride, who Jeb beat."
... So Democrats rigged the 2004 election? I can believe that, if the qualifier here is McBride beating Reno: Democrats kept the black vote from turning out for Reno.
Bunch of nutcases.

The left begged for these machines. Now, they did not get the result that they wanted they cry foul. What a bunch of wankers.

It can't be hacked. This is garbage. The machines aren't hooked up to a network. This is such disinformation.

Since when are Dems known for telling the truth? They'll spread this message over the world's media and repeat it like a mantra for the next four years.

Hmm. An individual suspects "tampering". So. Who does this alleged tampering benefit? The president. Who do you call? The FBI. Who does the FBI work for? The president. And this clown thinks that if tampering did occur, something would be done about it?
Conspiracy 101..

Anyone doing ANYTHING that would have gotten Clinton's girl Reno out of the political picture had carte blanche and the world's permission!

Janet "Timberrrrr" Reno lost any chance she had at beating McBride when she keeled over in public like a giant oak .

I agree that this is more of the same whining.
But I think that if there aren't safeguards to prevent fraud with electronic voting, the RATS could do it to us sometime in the future.
For instance, voting for House reps are local affairs. It would only take one or two corruptable people in a few key states to thwart the will of the majority.
I'm surprised that more people aren't concerned about this.
Just because we won THIS TIME is no assurance of what will happen in the future.

Are these voting machines or any equipment where the vote tally is stored linked to the internet?
