Can we finaly lay to rest the quaint notion that an "exit poll" has any scientific or practical utility? It was amazing watching the MSM trying to rationlize their expensive polling data against the reality of real world poll results.
Even FOX News spent most of the night fighting back the realization that their expensive exit poll data was coming well and truly unglued on the most important evening of the entire political season.
Don't "make" news. Just report it. Don't tell me what to think. Just tell me what's going on. I'll reach my own conclusions.
How many thousands or even millions of dollars did the networks invest in exit poll data only to see it become absolutely and completely irrelevant the momment "real" data was available to all of us, sitting in front of our PC's?
The era of the Domminant Media Culture has well and truly ended!
