I'm working on a website to act as a voter guide for the election in the upcoming weeks. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that search engines are not going to pick it up, so I am trying to get the word out via word of mouth.
The url for the website is http://www.bushvkerry.us
If you find it useful, please pass on the link. If you do not, please disregard it.
If you have any constructive criticism of the site, suggestions for topics to add, or links to add to pre-existing topics, please direct those communications to either the email address listed in my profile or to webmaster@bushvkerry.us
You should add FreeRepublic.com to your links page if you're going to pimp your site here, IMO.
Potential website pimping troll alert.
OVER HERE!
Hmmmm!...
Welcome to FR.
Where on the site would the link to freerepublic best fit?
'sniff sniff' 'sniff sniff'
smells like.....
could it be....
might it be.....????
In response to the other posts, I wasn't attempting to spam any message board or newsgroups, as this is the only place on the web I've posted a link to my site.
I didn't think it would be an issue to post in this particular section as the title of this board section is Bloggers and Personal. If I was incorrect in that thinking, then moderators, please delete my post.
One of my goals for posting here since I read that this is designed to be a conservative forum was to get feedback for the site. I know the election is only 3 weeks away, and I was sincerely hoping just to help people see the truth through the site.
I am sorry if I offended anyone by posting a link to my site here.
Add a -LINKS- button to conservative and (if you are so inclined) liberal sites.
you responded so you are probably not a troll then.
please accept my apology.
Sorry when we see Newbies on here, a red flag goes up. At least you created a web page.....
I'll do that, hopefully will have time to here in the next few days to start posting to some of the news threads.
I figured that I would be subject to scrutiny, and did expect varying responses since this is my first time on freerepublic.
Thanks for the welcome.
No problem at all, I figured I might throw some red flags by posting a link to a personal site.
Your site looks pretty good! Links to articles work, (some good articles, by the way)
I have a short list of links already on there (9). Of those, most have a conservative leaning. I tend to have a conservative view on most things, so my personal bias is showing through a bit in the choice of links (I think it's almost humanly impossible to be completely unbiased).
I do have John Kerry and George Bush's official election websites on there. Any suggestions for other election related sites?
I would love to post a long list of non-subscription news service sites on there. Any suggestions?
yeah...
just for further reference, when you post something of a personal nature, put (VANITY) next to it....might eliminate any further confusion....
I'll do that. On the keyword list?
Go to DrudgeReport.com and check his links.
Lucianne.com & Townhall.com are a couple good news with commentary sites. But, they pale in comparison to FR.
