What makes the most sense

As a realtor, I've been able to see firsthand the effect of the tax cuts initiated by President Bush.

In the last year, we've seen record numbers of first time homebuyers. In talking to these homebuyers, the most prevalent reason for their buying is having the money for the downpayment. Most rely on savings or gifts from family in order to have a downpayment but not anymore. I was astonished by those that were able to use their tax checks to move into their first home.

Another thing the tax cuts accomplished was getting small businesses energized to enhance the job market. John Kerry's plan to tax those making over $200,000 per year would affect 7 out of 10 small businesses. This would essentially kill the job market and unemployment could reach record numbers.

The deficit is a cyclic item that will do as it's always done. It will fall again and it will rise again. That's as sure as me not voting for John Kerry. Those that use the deficit as a reason for voting against George W Bush basically have no understanding or economic reality.
