In this year’s elections, some things are certain. John Kerry will win California. George W. Bush will win Texas.
Ralph Nader won’t win any states. But recent polls show that several states still remain “too close to call.” These states will become the political “battleground” over the next five weeks.
Therefore, SeaMax News will provide in-depth coverage of each of these states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Arizona is hardly a battleground state.
Maybe they missed the memo about Kerry pulling out of Missouri and Arizona. Colorado and Wisconsin are in the bag for Bush as well.
I would argue that for the GOP to spend some money in CA and NY would be advantageous. The popular vote counts for naught after Nov 2, but the popular POLLING has a far reaching psychological effect on all states including the battleground states in terms of turnout, bandwagon effect, wanting to vote for the "winner" etc. A narrowing of the gap in CA etc will show in the national poll numbers.

I am putting this out for the pajama brigades to take a look at. I live in Maine, from polling it is considered a battleground state, and gas prices are hovering around 2.00 per gallon. This weekend I was visiting my parents in Massachusetts, obviously a non-battleground, and gas was 1.84 a gallon. I am wondering if any other battlegrounders have noticed this and can let me know of prices where they are. In addition, any non-battlegrounders let me know of prices in their states. Thanks.....
I filled up this evening in Texas for $1.69 per gallon.
In NH, allegedly a battleground state, I filled my tank today at $1.83 per gallon.
In ME you have higher taxes, because the idiots that moved there from MA forgot why they moved and ruined your state like they are currently doing to NH. Perhaps that is the reason rather than some conspiracy.

Very, very tight race for NH. GWB is at tie or +1 according to realclearpolitics.com. Not much cushion here. Would be really good to keep this state in the GOP fold but a loss is covered by the extra EV's from population shifts this year. I believe.
Advantage, Bush. But still a tossup. I was in the July 4th Wolfeboro parade with the Bush/Cheney banner and we got about 5:1 cheers over boos during a period when Kerry was ahead in the polls. I couldn't believe Kerry was ahead then and I can't believe it is close now. Man, the southern towns must be flooded with libs.
