Have you folks heard of the Constitution Party? www.constitutionparty.com Principal can be very hard to discern in politics. I just know that if the constitution party really had a chance to win they would definitely get my vote. This is a party of mostly Christians that uphold the constitution, guided by the Holy Bible, as the ultimate law of the land.

Without being familiar with the candidates and the issues you stated that the CP voters might vote for the Democratic candidate that disagreed with he CP platform nearly 100%. If that were to happen, the CP voters are either ignorant or stupid or the candidate is more important than the platform.Without being familiar with those voters and their view of the issues, you assumed that without the CP candidate on the ballot enough of them would have voted Republican to change the outcome. I considered a possibility. You assumed facts not in evidence.

I don't know who that is, George Ryan , former governor of Illinois and future guest of the state at Pontiac prison. There are tons more of them in Illinois .
Lots more nationwide, want to see some more?
I vote straight ticket GOP
Good way to get all manner of criminals not to mention liberals.
and have never voted for any Libertarian.
Goody, join the vast majority of Americans.
I don't plan on doing so, either.
Who asked you to?
I'll stick with the GOP, thank you.
You get what you deserve.

Burkeman1 was an almost clone of Galt, almost the same quotes and behaviors.Burkeman1 is a drunk. Did you read him when he posted while intoxicated?
Unreal.

I usually ran across him while he and Galt's buddies were doing their "Sarin isn't WMD" script.
Saw him do the ranting challenges to fights once or twice.

They're dead.I guess that makes you smarter. Until, of course, you're dead. Then some moron will be smarter than you.
BTW, you use the same line as Democrats who hate the constitution and founding principles.

I have heard of them. I will not vote for them however. I'm pleased with GW. I like what he is doing with the WOT, his tax cuts, and his space initative. Yes he could improve on spending, and protecting our borders. However I'm not going throw my vote away at a party that has no chance in hell to win in a general election.

Our nation's beginnings were also founded upon the right to NOT worship, or worship something else, and not feel the wrath of the religious for opposing their views...and I know what happens when a particular ideology controls lawmaking powers over a nation.
I can read just fine.

Well, I'm purported to actually BE dead, I just haven't had the good grace to lay down and stay down yet.
Of course, that would explain the garlic cloves and crucifix nailed to my door every morning.

Your #7 indicated otherwise.
So you actually agree with the author that the Constitution should be the ultimate law of the land?

That isn't a truly valid analogy.

You get what you deserve. If we get a bad apple, we'll deal with him/her.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes I do have to hold my nose.
But for me, the real issue is between GOP and 'RATS. Voting straight GOP,
I help keep the 'RATS out of power (see tagline I've been wearing for quite
a while now).
Apparently, a lot of other Texans realize that the GOP is more responsible /
better / whatever since all statewide office are controlled by the GOP.

That isn't a truly valid analogy. Of course it is. You are concerned about not "wasting" your vote by voting FOR one of the other two parties who you think has a chance to win. So, hypothetically, if the only two parties running were the Commies and the Nazis, the same situation would exist. So?????
