It is a minor annoyance. They can observe, they can say whatever they want... because I know we have the best democracy in the world. We balance our progress with a government that mixes regional/state interests against mob interest, and balance that with life time appointments to our high courts, which provides continuity of opinion between generations.
No other government in the world has our balance, which is why their democracies have tended toward socialism... the end result of 100% mob rule.
